What can I do with aged Yahoo accounts?

I found out that i have alot of aged yahoo accounts created since 2005 2006 or even older. Can I use these for marketing purposes?

The big question here is this: Are those yahoo accounts still valid and working because i think yahoo do suspend accounts that haven't been used for a long time. if they are still working, you can use them for email marketing of products and services. Also as for the yahoo answers, you progress from one level to another (level 3) before you will be eligible to post links in yahoo answers which is also very important too for promoting your website/blog. but before you start using them , make sure you verify if they are still working or not?

If you can still manage to access them you could make good use of them of course, especially for Yahoo Answers. However if you have not logged into these email accounts for a long period of time, they may be suspended. I never went through this but from what I found it seems that Yahoo! Mail accounts end up getting deactivated and removed after 6 months of not being used. They take into account how long the account was held, and add an extra two months for each year you held it, in addition to those 6 months though.

I think Yahoo is requiring users to verify their account. I also have some old accounts in Yahoo Mail that are still accessible although this year they issued a verification process when Yahoo was transferred to the new owner that I think it is Verizon. If you have forgotten the password then that can be a problem. But I guess it is worth a try instead of creating a new one.
