Simple facebook marketing tips anyone can follow

Marketing on facebook isn't like posting an article to your website. You'll need to market to people in a way to increase clicks through to your website, facebook page, etc.

You'll need to be posting on your own page as well as other community pages in order to pull traffic into your own content, website, business page. This can be a tricky procedure, but I'll help you out as much as I can with the following content here Simple facebook marketing tips anyone can follow

When marketing your businesses facebook page or website you'll need to do it delicately so that you don't ruin your image. To do this you have to post comments and content that does not come across as "spammy" in the eyes of the page manager.

To market properly, you'll need to do some of the following:

  • Post on your own page - Make sure that your content is optimized and educational. You can post something to your page which is clearly an advertisement, because it will go live since you're the moderator. Posting to your own page comes in handy when you want to boost a post. But we'll go over that in a different discussion.
  • Post to communities - Target large, medium and small communities. The large communities will cycle your post off of their page pretty quick since the community is so large and you'll have more people posting. The smaller and medium sized groups will have your post shown for longer, but to less people. I've noticed that the smaller to medium sized groups have a better conversion rate since they statistically have more people viewing your post which increases the click through rate Simple facebook marketing tips anyone can follow
  • Join a bunch of groups in your niche - Some of the better groups will not be open and you'll have to apply to join. You should join a bunch of these groups right away because some take a while to approve you.
  • Comment on posts - In your groups there will be plenty of people commenting. This is where the marketing kicks into high gear lol. You can comment on each post that is made and the person posting it will get notified. You can turn each poster into a client if you comment with quality content and not just a "HEY THERE! CLICK MY LINK!!!"
  • Answer questions - Answering a question that someone posted is the quickest way to turn someone into a client. You're basically helping them for free and afterwards you can say "Well, I run example.com and I've been doing this for years. I just thought it would be nice to help you out Simple facebook marketing tips anyone can follow" That way you're not spamming them and they are happy lol.

These are just a few things you can do.

What else could we add to this?

Thanks,

Razzy

Hi Razzy. Nice post. Yeah i guess it's common to share contents this way and most of us doing it. But serious marketers should really take more care about last two tips, replay to comments and answer questions. Without these two, your post can be dead and i have seen it many times when someone post like it's bot and doesn't care any more, but when you someone posting and engaging with commenters then it's really good way of marketing on Facebook. That's how Facebook marketing works and it's essential or there is no real results. So for other readers of this post, i suggest to pay special attention to this two tips in order to get real results

yeah, replying to your people is awesome for conversions. The person you're talking to may not be the one who signs up, but the person who is lurking may like your response and contact you directly Simple facebook marketing tips anyone can follow

Good tips Buddy, Marketing on Facebook is a big deal because that's where you get to see so many people.

The points above are quite effective like posting to groups and communities highly recommended, then posting comment and responding to them is really a good one.

Facebook is really the way to go with marketing and sales of products, services and brands.

Hey Razzy thanks for these great tips for using Facebook marketing. I totally agree with what you said about posting in medium and smaller groups too. I post in loads of groups of different sizes and I usually see the most results from the smaller groups. This is simply because my posts will disappear down so much faster more people posting in the large groups.

I have also found success with interacting with other people, and yes very importantly like you say in a non-spammy way! On Facebook and also loads of other social networks so many people just send content out and don't bother to interact with others. If you do interact you get noticed!

Smaller groups are golden for marketing Simple facebook marketing tips anyone can follow Sometimes I'll take it a step further and see if I can get a pinned comment on a page or have the owner of the page post for me. Usually I have to pay for this, sometimes it's a monthly fee but it's worth it if the group has a good amount of users and traffic.

I tend to post community's a lot my self to be honest , I find it is always better to do that it is better to reach out to multiple at once then to manually go one by one from page to page copy and pasting the same thing I also like the picture that I deal mike posted I believe that is very true one does not simply get the same response from there Facebook post with out engaging people I find this so true it's as simple as this people will speak when spoken too and that's the bottom line

If you don't reach out, you're missing a lot of sales or clients Simple facebook marketing tips anyone can follow

I've reached out to thousands of potential clients who I thought might be interested in my services. It probably cost me around $500 per 5,000 potential clients, but it's worth if because I usually get 2 to 3 sign ups at $550+ per month Simple facebook marketing tips anyone can follow I'm always happy with a 300% return just by paying a VA (virtual assistant) to send out emails for me lol Simple facebook marketing tips anyone can follow

Hi Razzy thanks for your nice post. Those point really useful. And I think most of the online professional use those technique for product promotion. Do you think groups post is effective for visitors convert. Rather, I prefer to promote anything on fanpage of my own. I have some fan pages and I use to promote all those pages for any product or service. And I really get some real people from those post. Each of my fan pages over 10K fans and most of the real fan. And I got it by advertising on FB. So, this may another effective way to promote service by fanpages rather groups.

Great tips! Facebook is a marketing giant too big to ignore. With an estimated 2 billion users, if you are not making use of Facebook to market your product, you are missing a huge chance to leverage Facebook powers.

Thank you for these tips for I am someone that enjoys using my facebook account to chat as well as read posts made by others. I think to have to post our page every now and then would make our friends relate with us and the type of ideas that we have about life and that is also the reason you see some sets of people moving along. Also, joining groups is what I did long time ago, but I have not been that active, however, with your tips I think I need to make my presence known over there.

I am very active on Facebook, I have pages for all of my websites. When you have numerous websites and have facebook pages for your every website, then it is quite difficult to remain active on each of your pages. having pages is not enough, you need audience on your page. If you want to benefit, small or a moderate audience will not suffice, you need a large audience. However, building a large audience is really difficult.

Commenting on posts is the most important in your list. No matter if you post regularly or you post interesting items but if you will not interact with the posts of your friends in Facebook then they might avoid you. In fact, I click the unfollow button when I feel that a friend is not reacting on my posts. When unfollowed, I wouldn’t see his posts anymore hence his account is like being disconnected. Anyway, when you react to the posts of others, they will retaliate positively and most likely will react to your posts particularly your marketing promotions.

I think that sums it up. In my experience building authority in relevant social media pages and communities/groups and having corroborations / partnerships with them including sponsorships is an effective way of promoting your site.
