A SERIOUS ISSUE - Losing more money than earning on SeoClerks

I want to start by saying I have always respected SeoClerks and the platform they provide but this 10% Non-Refundable Selling Fee Policy is a SERIOUS ISSUE.
This message is from support via email, the policy states: "When you list and sell services on SEOClerks, we charge a 10% selling fee. Service fee charges are non-refundable even if you do not complete the order."
For sellers, you're signing up to lose money on SeoClerks rather than earning an income with this new policy.
THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE From the beginning of my selling journey, I have had a lot of scam buyers. These are buyers who would purchase your product/service and then deliberately request a refund AFTER getting your products/service. In the past, SeoClerks would handle rejected orders disputes but when the dispute comes from the source (ie PayPal, Credit Card - Bank dispute), there was nothing SeoClerks could have done because they never offered charge back Fraud like Fiverr does and I would just have to settle with a cancelled order even though I delivered the product/service. I've had many buyers do that to me in the past and it was so stressful dealing with them. It was also depressing knowing that they got my hard work for free, this motivated me to license all of my software so I can easily revoke license for buyers who request a refund. Unfortunately, I can't license a service so that's still an issue for.
Now with this new 10% Selling Fee Policy, money gets deducted from my card whether I earn money from the order or not. I made a discussion about this issue before it even happened to me because I foresaw this, yet, the moderators here insist it was a good idea as we get 100% of the money which all sellers know is NOT TRUE. Even though payments come directly to my PayPal, I have to pay 10% transaction fee to PayPal plus this 10% SeoClerks fee so it's pretty much the same 20% fee for me. I have no problem paying SeoClerks 10% because I don't expect to use the platform for free. I have a problem with the part where they charge you for cancelled/refunded orders. That means I have to pay even when I didn't earn anything. That's ridiculous!!
Today I refunded a buyer an order of $175 via PayPal. I lost nothing on PayPal but I still have to pay $17.50 to SeoClerks due to this ridiculous policy. Why do I have to pay a selling fee when the item was not even SOLD, it was refunded, there was NO INCOME for me, so why? In addition to this, the order still remained marked as "completed" on SeoClerks platform even though it was cancelled and the buyer review is also still available.
What if I get 5 cancelled orders in one week? (the chances are high with these fraud buyers) I could lose minimum $90-150 USD for just 5 refunded orders since my average selling price is $120-$500 including custom orders. So now I have to drop my selling prices so I can atleast afford to pay the selling fee? That makes no sense. What if I get an order for $500 and it gets cancelled, I have to pay $50? What kind of madness is that??
I even saw a moderator commented on this issue from another seller complaint and said that we must agree because SeoClerks has to pay affiliate for driving traffic to get us sales. What??? First of all, I promote my OWN gigs here, I pay for category features and buy hundreds of paid boosts. I have promoted my gigs on twitter, Facebook, Google ads and also included SeoClerks on my website since they use to offer buyers a wider payment options. Secondly, how does it make sense to Pay affiliate money for a purchase that was REFUNDED? So you're telling me, affiliates will be earning money from the SELLER, not the buyer who made the purchase? That sounds like fraud to me, affiliates getting money even when sellers don't.
MY RECOMMENDATIONS So SeoClerks team really need to reassess this because I'm sure I am not the only one here having this issue and eventually sellers WILL come across this issue. Here are recommendations to fix this flawed policy:

1) Simply don't charge the fee for Incomplete, Cancelled and Refunded orders.
2) Charge a standard monthly subscription fee for sellers to use the platform.
3) Charge a standard fee for ALL service orders and set a minimum price for gigs so that sellers profit after the standard fee applies. For example, charging a fee of $5 for all service orders and making the minimum price $15 for services, or even $10 and minimum price $20, etc. Since SeoClerks is not handling the payment transaction itself, they're only handling the platform to exchange products & services which for every seller is the same order page, this seem like a more appropriate way of charging. This should also not apply to Incomplete, Cancelled or Refunded orders.
Of course, when I put forward these recommendations to support, they said that they won't change their policy based on ONE seller's request. I'm sure I'm not the only seller here requesting to adjust this policy. This policy is only fitting for Affiliate Marketers for SEOclerks NOT for Sellers and sellers are the backbone of this platform. Without sellers, what will the affiliates have to market?  Eventually, they will be forced to adjust it because as time goes by more and more sellers will have this issue and complain about it. It's a catastrophe waiting to happen. I can only wait, time will tell. If I get one more cancelled order, I am going to suspend all of my services here because I can't afford to lose in these difficult times of the pandemic. I will just continue to use Fiverr and my own website as it will not make sense to sell here. I still haven't gotten my withdrawal for money since July 7th for money earned before the changes were made.
There's so much potential for SEOclerks to be a better marketplace than others, I think they should rebrand and come back stronger by allowing more services rather than just SEO-based services and possibly kick out Fiverr, Upwork and others. It's likely but the owners need to seek that opportunity. Anyways, let me know your input if you're a seller and also if you have more recommendations to fix this new 10% Seller Fee Policy.

I had same problem and started discussion Seoclerks, this is NOT fair where i mention "Commission on zero income should be zero. Any charge on zero income is FRAUD!!!!"

Word of mouth is spreading very fast and i guess Seoclerks send out a strong call for scam buyers to buy, get service and get refund, while sellers have to saffer with income loss. I don't see why, but Seoclerks with this mentioned policy is going to force all sellers to stop selling here while number of scam buyer will growth day by day!!!

Also you made good point here that affiliates will be earning from sellers (instead from buyers) even when sellers lossing money. NO WAY that Seoclerks can be sustainable platform this way.

If Seoclerks still decide to keep eyes shut and continue like this, i personally will not be part of their scam scheme and fraud.

Exactly, from a buyer point of view, they can only purchase with the payment method that the seller integrated and that is a major loss. At this point, all I can set up is PayPal, all the other gateways makes it difficult to get verified and its stress. Now I need to force myself to get all these payment methods set up and have my money all over the place. Both buyers and sellers are confused at this point.

Its been two months and they are still very "busy" unable to reply here and fixing the site LOL best part is all the staff is busy in fixing even the support staff and they are using sellers to communicate to us WOW !!!! REFUND POLICY IS PATHETIC FOR CANCELLED ORDERS and they dont even bother to hear us just adding up stupid gateways no use at all when they clearly mention in bold we are not responsible for any purchase why on earth would buyer trust new sellers this way when host websites does not trust its own sellers !!! Seoclerks wake up sellers and buyers both are suffering.

I know right, they are usually on top of things, I assume thier money is on hold for 90 days on PayPal and that means we have to wait 90 days before some of us gets Payout. I requested withdrawal since July 7th and I read here that there's sellers here receiving withdrawal before me when they requested after me. I don't know how this system works now, but it's still in a mess and SeoClerks needs to higher a better consultant agency to deal with this.

Yes, all of us do but sadly that will never be the case unless they rebrand and apply back for payment gateways under the new brand.

Yes like you, we also face this kind of problem. After they change the policy I don't get any orders. I hope they will understand and solve this problem asap.

Yes, things have slowed down drastically. Most likely that's because the payment systems are all messed up and buyers don't have a wide option like before. Also, free boosts were taken away overnight, that was just so ridiculous because many sellers work for their free boosts, they should have atleast left them to finish it.
