Do you use Facebook for advertising ?

Facebook advertising benefited me a lot in last 2 years. It generated very good traffics and daily readers for my blogs and websites. I think you need an eye-catching niche to attract readers from Facebook to your blogs or websites. Mostly I use a Facebook page to generate traffic for my blogs because it's beneficial to have a Facebook page with over 100k page likes. So most of the time I advertised my Facebook page instead of my blogs. Good thing is that now I can generate traffics for other affiliated blogs and websites too. I think Facebook made lot of changes in last 2 year in their Facebook ad campaigns and they made very good changes.

What about anyone uses Facebook ads and what is your experience? If you used any other social networking advertising like Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. then do let me know what is your experience with social networks advertising?

If you have a very popular Facebook Page then that is a good venue to promote your blog. That is my plan when I proceed with having my own blog. I will first create a Facebook Page with the same niche as my planned website. When the Facebook Page is established with a good number of followers then that is the right time to create my own blog that I can easily promote in my Facebook Page.

I do use Facebook to advertise my blog site. But it's not really working great for me so far, maybe because it's still new. I only use Facebook though so I wouldn't know about the others. I wanna ask, what is the average number of views do you get each day when you advertise your blogs on Facebook? Let us say that you promote this one blog of yours and at the end of the day, approximately how many?

Cheers!

Mostly I don't use Facebook advertisement directly for my blogs, instead of that I use it to promote my Facebook pages. I have few Facebook pages over 100k likes each and those pages helps me to generate traffics for my blogs and websites. I just post viral stuffs more on my Facebook pages, so people can engage and share my Facebook page content.

I tried to use Facebook to advertise my products for my online store some years back but it didn't work. I had so much hope from Facebook at that time because I was aware that some people have succeeded in advertising their products over there. My business was a new one and maybe this can also explain why advertising on Facebook didn't really work. I know some people who conduct their businesses on Facebook.

No, I don't really use Facebook ads but I do use it for other business purposes such as staying in contact with my clients. I used to do a lot of blogging and I used Facebook for marketing and promotional things but I never really paid for their ads.

My favorite advertisement and marketing social media platform is currently Twitter. I feel like that it's rising in its popularity and that you can get a better exposure on there than on Facebook. Of course, this is just my own personal opinion. I just like that Twitter focuses more on short, on point tweets/posts rather than Facebook's two-page essays. It is easy to use Twitter to your own advantage with catchy, unique and good content - always link your blog/website in your tweets and try to use click-bait titles Do you use Facebook for advertising ?

I think that it's not a really easy way to increase your website views using Facebook advertising. It's going slow and you need more effort in that, not like other ways or other social media like twitter.

Yes and No. I don't use Facebook for paid advertising and it's because of what you indicated: “it's beneficial to have a Facebook page with over 100k page likes”. However, since Facebook does allow a user to create a business page free, I took advantage of it and set up pages linking then to my blogs or affiliate marketing websites. My pages have nowhere near 100K followers. My most popular page has a little over 500 followers. Still! Having a page is like having a business card that you can pass out when you meet new people. As you increase your social media network, you ask friends to Like your page and share with their friends. It's sort of a form of free advertising. It's better than no marketing strategy at all. Don't you think so?

It sounds like a good idea to do so. I have never thought of creating Facebook pages for promoting my own blog or affiliate marketing. This is really encouraging. I would like to give it a try.

500 followers are good too, slowly your follower base will grow more and more.

You should give it a try and remember to use your target audience interest related to your niche. You will get a lot of their options on the Facebook ad campaign to generate related enough traffic for your niche.

It depends on what kind of niche you have, I have an entertainment website where most of my content is related to trending news, viral threads, funny pictures and memes. My facebook page is related to my website contents. I advertised my facebook page post to go virally hit and it happened, because of this it created a large number of followers on my Facebook page. Now from my facebook page, I generate traffics directly to my entertainment website now.

An entertainment niche and a food niche are great. Unfortunately, I don't have a niche in those areas. But it's good to know how you accomplished getting visitors to your site. Thanks for responding back.

It's okay even if you don't have any website related to entertainment niche. You can still use it for your blogs if you have any good niche to promote. Just find good niche and keywords to use Facebook ad campaigns.

Are you familiar with using Google Plus page posts for ads. They say that if your G+ page (or brand account) has 1000 followers, then you can take one of your posts and turn it into an ad. Have you ever done that? What do you think?

* Feel free to start a brand new discussion on this topic. I realize that by asking about Google Plus, I'm sort of changing the subject.

But like with Facebook, I can't seem to get the required number of followers for my G+ business page. I have one page and all I need is 200 more followers to reach that 1K. Been trying for years. One of these days! Do you use Facebook for advertising ?

REF: Google+ Pages with 1,000+ followers can now create +Post ads, promote Hangouts on Air and automatic posts

Hi JackDan, yes I do use Facebook for advertising and I must say that Facebook is the best socializing site for this. Twitter is the second one that would raise your trafic if you own a lot of followers. I am a member in Facebook since 2008 and at the beginning i haven't used it so often but now, this site is my principal advertising platform!

Hi JackDan thanks for your nice query. Yes! I usedfacebook advertising for my several website and blog and page too. Still one of
boosting ad running on facebook. Really it is very cheap and effective rather
than other social media.

Though all time result do not come as expected and
some time difficult too but due cheap adverting price, you have good chance to
get huge responsive for any website or page. Most problem is unrelated viewer
all time response mostly compare with google.

Thank by Ajlancer

If you mean paid Facebook Ads, then its no. I am yet to pay Facebook to advertise my blog. What I make good use of is my blog page on Facebook as well as the group. This works very well if you don't have the budget as yet for paid ads. You build up your group by ensuring quality content and relevant conversation is provided. You can also run a competition and offer giveaways like e-books. Once in a while, drop specific links in your content to direct traffic back to your blog.

You can then use tools like SumoMe to check where your traffic is coming from.

When I started as a beginner, it helped me a lot to generate enough traffic for my niche, and it also contributed to finding good loyal readers or subscribers. I think if you can spend a good amount of money as beginners to launch your blogs or websites, then Facebook advertising is a good place to start. You need quality content to keep your readers loyal to your blogs or websites.

Facebook advertisements for me have always been annoying in my opinion. Whenever I see a Facebook advertisement I normally just skip past it. And I find that this is the same case with many people.

It depends on what kind of niche you are promoting and targeting audiences for your post. There are different factors, and Facebook ad campaign is getting better where you can target your audience related to your niche by using interests option from the Facebook ad campaign. It works perfectly for my niche.

Yep, I used to hate it a couple of years ago since they didn't polish their service and a lot of ads went unnoticed, but recently they've upped the ante and it's worth investing at least a small chunk into Facebook Advertising. It also depends on the niche you're trying to promote.

halloo Jack I myself don't use Facebook advertising but I have a friend of min who used it to promote his NGO(non governmental organization) and it worked well, plus I read reviews of people who advertise their products and businesses using social media like Facebook, Instagram and twitter it seems the only cheap and easy way to advertise these days.

It is really cheap if you compare other PPC ad networks in the market. The primary factor is that it is a good source of traffic for your niche and it also provides a lot of data (information) to help you grow your business.

Yes, I have used Facebook to promote before. I have a video business on the side and I boosted one of my better performing videos to reach a larger audience. It actually gained me a significant number of new likes to my page as well. Social media is an incredibly powerful marketing tool today, and it has the potential for your posts to reach an enormous number of people sometimes with very little effort. It's great to understand it and be able to use it effectively!

Exactly, we all need a good understanding of the platform we are using to reach targeted audiences for our niche. Even I gained a lot of followers and subscribers for my websites, facebook pages, and blogs. It is a handy tool for a newbie as well to generate good traffic for their niche.

Yes i do! Facebook has been a good promotional website for me since 2013. Using it has been a good service. but its a bit expensive when it comes to massive people to come visit a post or a page. but definitely worth it! You can manage how many people would visit and like the page in just a cheap price for starters, thus if you are really serious about it, investing quite sum of money would greatly help you surface your products or page. or whatever you like.

Honestly, it is actually cheaper than Google AdWords and Bing Ads if you use their demographic and interest options from their ad campaign options. Facebook ads are the good way to target your audiences related to their interest with a good amount of money.

From what I have gathered Facebook Ads are a great and relatively cheap method you can use to reach your target audience, and potential customers/visitors. I'm opening my first online store and Facebook Ads is something that I see myself experimenting a lot with. I also saw some good social network promotion services here on Seoclerks that I am considering buying, to further promote my business.

I agree with you that Facebook ad campaign is cheap and very useful for beginners in any field. Even if you have to start a new online store business or online blogs or websites, the Facebook ad campaign is the best way to start with and the new features in Facebook advertising give us more tools to target our audiences.

I used Facebook advertising because of their super target option. It brings me a lot of highly target traffic to my blog. And the best thing is, it's cheaper than advertising on other social media sites.

I agree with you about cheap and targeted audiences in Facebook advertising. I started my ad campaign on Facebook 2 years back with new blogs and websites and it gave me a lot of targeted audiences with a good amount of investment.

Facebook advertising is getting better every year and if you want to make most out of it then go more specific. You should try the interest features on the Facebook ad campaign, and I'm sure you will get better results. I have tried that, and it gave me better and precise results. It helped to get more followers or subscribers for my facebook page. I'm not going to say it's cheap but yes they have good pricing with real genuine results.

Yes I have found that facebook is a great way to advertise almost anything. Even services!. I had advertised before products as simple as Bracelets and rings and services as complicated as nurse services. I'd succed with both of them. You just need to be really consistent when posting.

Facebook's demographics and targeting systems are actually very accurate if you set them up correctly. I learned that had way on that one. I was trying to market wedding videography, and I didn't set up the age range for my audience correctly. My ads ran on anyone who matched the interested I had selected, but were anywhere from 18 to 65+ years old. I needed to target people in the late teens and early 20's, and I somehow didn't set that correctly.

Needless to say, the ad was slightly beneficial in that it directed traffic to my page, but I think it could have been much more effective had I set the demographics up correctly.

No I do not because I used them in the past and it was a complete waste of money. I mean sure it got me some clicks and a few likes. But what good is that? I ended up wasting $50 and I would have been better off taking $50 a lighting it on fire. I will never use facebook ads again!

I have used Facebook to advertise on some occasions and in as much as I did not spend any money on doing so, I must confess that it was really a good way to go about it. I had the boost on my sales during those periods and later.

Facebook is the most potent of all social media network that’s why I always recommend Facebook for advertising purposes. With my friends in Facebook, I also find them enamored with Facebook for they are not only posting advertisements of their business but sometimes they post what they want to buy like a used cellphone or even if they need a housemaid. What’s good in Facebook is that it’s free.

I have done free advertising as well as paid advertising on facebook. My free advertising includes sharing on my timeline, pages and groups I manage as well as groups I have joined. My paid advertising is boosting page and post, advertising my product through PPC campaign.
Though I did not get the result as expected from paid advertising, I think facebook ad is a good way to reach the customer base.
