How to have a happy client

Have you ever wondered how you can have a happy client so they return for more and more work? Well, there are a few steps that you can do to ensure that you will have a repeat buyer.

First off, make sure that you have open lines of communication. This is ideal in making sure that a job goes smoothly. If you are not willing to have communication with them, via SEOClerks or if you are not working through the site, then email, phone, Skype or other methods, then you will be sure to fall flat on your face.

Second, you need to ask questions. If you don't understand a job, then ask questions til you do. No sense in doing a job wrong just to have it done by the deadline! Be certain you understand what it is that the client wants.

Third, let the client know how the job is going. Even if it is just a quick message to let them know you are working on it, or it is halfway done, or whatever, can score bonus points with you.

And finally, when you are done with the job, thank the client for allowing you to work with them. This says that you are very professional.

Thank you. Some very good tips on keeping happy customers. And, I use all these ideas daily, especially the part about giving the client updates and thanking them for the chance to work. It seems like a little thing, but repeat freelance work is never guaranteed. You want your clients to know their loyalty is valued and appreciated. So always let the client know how much you want to work with them again.

So taking time to let them know what is going on is a good idea.
