How you should be treating your customers to acquire and keep their loyalty

In today's world, you need to gain and keep your customers loyalty if you want to be as successful as possible in your industry.  If you don't have the trust of your customers, you really don't have anything, because they won't be loyal to you or your company which means they will go to your competitors and buys from them.

You need to keep people on your website, build trust with them by helping them throughout the entire buying process if necessary, and do anything you can to keep them happy.  If you can do that, you can keep them coming back for years to come, which is what this discussion is all about How you should be treating your customers to acquire and keep their loyalty

Really use product or service scarcity
I would say that 99% of websites that use scarcity actually have unlimited amounts of products or services and they're just using this method to generate more sales.  If you really have scarcity, use it to your benefit, and list all of your products with a countdown to 0.  When your inventory hits 0, you need to post a message saying "We don't know when this will be back.  We're sorry if you missed out on this product.  You can subscribe HERE to get notified if it comes back" and you will not only build trust because your timer didn't reset to sell more products but you're building an email list that you can market to later on How you should be treating your customers to acquire and keep their loyalty

If you can give it away for free, do it
If you want to really build trust among your customers, you should give away something for free if you can, because everyone loves free stuff!  With one of my cheaper SEO websites, similar to SEOclerks but I own all of the services, I give away 5,000 free backlinks if someone were to subscribe to my newsletter.  I then do the work within a couple hours using software, then send out the report, and they are happy they got the work in such a timely manner.  I tell them I use software to build the links, so they know the links aren't going to be the best, but I still get a lot of sign-ups How you should be treating your customers to acquire and keep their loyalty

I give away a free backlinking package, they trust me more because I'm helping them out with their backlinking profile, and they tend to purchase a bigger package later on that I sell on my website How you should be treating your customers to acquire and keep their loyalty

Always think before you post content
You can't let your emotions take control of your fingers when you're typing.  You always need to think before you post a comment in response to someone shaming your business or services on an open forum or blog.  Stay professional at all times, never show you are angry, and you can usually come out on top if you just give a little discount coupon to everyone reading that blog or forum post How you should be treating your customers to acquire and keep their loyalty

Another reason you should think before you post content is that you never want to get into politics or religion, even if you're very political or religious, and this is because you'll most likely irritate someone with your points of view.

Focus on results, not your next sale
If you're just working on your next sale, and not the current orders coming through your business or website, you will tend to lose the trust of anyone that is already purchasing.  This is because you will slack on the work that needs to be done, which your customers will quickly notice, and they might even file a chargeback which means you lose that sale.

Focus on the results from your services or the products actually making it to your customers more than building up your next sale.  If you can do this, you will have people trusting you more with each sale that happens, and you will be creating a ton of recurring purchases from happy customers How you should be treating your customers to acquire and keep their loyalty

In conclusion
Gaining the trust of your customers is key if you want to be as successful as possible, but you need to nurture every customer and grow their trust over time.  You won't gain it before they receive their order or product, the trust will come later after they get and review your work.  If you've done everything right, you will easily gain a lot of trust within the community you're targeting and sales will always increase How you should be treating your customers to acquire and keep their loyalty
