Link diversity basically means your backlinks come from different sources and types instead of all looking the same - a mix of Web 2.0 links, blog comments, directory listings, guest posts, etc. rather than 500 links that all look identical. Google's gotten really good at spotting patterns, so a link profile that's 100% one type (especially if it's all the exact same anchor text too) tends to look manufactured. Mixing tiers and link types is honestly one of the main reasons I structure campaigns the way I do - it keeps the whole profile looking like it grew naturally instead of being built all at once.Link diversity basically means your backlinks come from different sources and types instead of all looking the same - a mix of Web 2.0 links, blog comments, directory listings, guest posts, etc. rather than 500 links that all look identical.
