How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO

We all want massive amounts of traffic, but not everyone knows SEO, so it could be difficult to obtain all the traffic they want at the end of the day.  Sure, you could take your time and edit all of your pages so they're optimized and add plenty of great content to your website in order to build your domain authority as well as build some great backlinks, but what if you screw up?  Plenty of people go out and try SEO for themselves but they eventually hurt their own rankings and that's never a good thing!

So many people get caught up trying to increase their rankings through SEO that they forget about all the other great methods to boost traffic and sales.  People write up massive of optimized articles and build backlinks to them, but they forget to be on social media platforms talking to all their followers to boost their sales.  People will be so focused finding guest posts, to get a backlink and boost their rankings, they will forget about PPC campaigns that can run on autopilot after configured, and send in massive amounts of sales quicker than SEO can!

In this discussion, I'll be going over 4 sure-fire ways to bring in Traffic and sales that don't revolve around SEO, and they are:

Getting on social media
Social media is an amazing place, there are literally billions of visits each and every day to all the social platforms, and that means you can tap into that traffic to make money for yourself How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO  If you get on your social media profiles and post about your services or products, eventually you'll start to gain traction and bring in a decent amount of traffic to your website.

If you're already writing up a bunch of content, why not write up a little snippet of information about your website and services, then show it to everyone on Facebook or your preferred social media platform?  You'd be amazed at how many people will take action and go to your website to actually see what you're offering, and they might make a purchase How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO

Paying for ads on Facebook, Google, Yahoo!, and Bing
When you want to generate some quick sales, you'll need to get on some of the major PPC platforms, which you'll pay per click or by impressions to get visitors coming to your website.  Since you can get super targeted with these types of advertising campaigns, you will be able to aim your ads directly at the people who are more likely to purchase, which will boost your sales and especially your ROI How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO

Running a PPC campaign isn't always the easiest thing to do because you could get greedy with your targeting, so you'll need to make sure your audience is small and specific in order to get the best bang for your buck.  If you are targeting general audiences, you won't notice a lot of clicks turning into sales, which could kill your income and ROI in a short amount of time.  Be sure you sit down and go over everything that needs detailed attention within the advertising campaign and make sure you're not wasting money on pointless clicks, in the end, you'll be happy you did How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO

Finding ads on BuySellAds
I don't always purchase ads on this platform, but you can sometimes find little gems that send you a decent amount of quality traffic, and the price could be extremely low compared to a PPC campaign.  I've purchased ads for $100 and gotten 4,000 clicks from them, which netted me around $2,000 profit How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO  On the other hand, I've paid $400+ for ads and gotten a lot of clicks, but 1 or 2 sales resulting in a massive loss How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO

You need to do your research before you purchase any sort of monthly ad, and it's no different if the platform shows traffic statistics of the site offering ad spots.  You could pay a lot and get a little, pay a little and get a lot, or you could be anywhere in between which is why you need to constantly research the websites you're thinking of throwing money at for an ad spot.

Posting videos on YouTube
When it comes to the bigger websites, that allow you to post for free, YouTube will always be on the top 5 list for how much traffic is being obtained.  I'm not talking about traffic just they are getting, I'm talking about traffic you're going to get from posting your videos to their platform, and this could mean a lot of free targeted traffic from people searching your videos and eventually clicking through to your website How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO

What you'll need to do is record informative videos about your niche, revolving around your website or a service you offer, then post them to YouTube.  The better quality the videos is, the more often it will get shared, and that means you will potentially get more traffic because of it.

After you get your video published on YouTube, you will want to make sure your description is top notch and keyword specific, so you show up more often than anything else within the search results on all the search engines.  Later on, when you're getting more views on your videos, you will notice they begin to rank better within YouTubes own search results.  This means even more views and a better potential to gain additional sales for free How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO

In Conclusion
You don't need to understand SEO, or be very good at it, to make money online.  There are plenty of other methods out there, like the ones I mentioned above, that can bring in massive amounts of traffic that will result in plenty of sales for your website.  You can run PPC campaigns, post to YouTube, purchase banner ads, and get active on all the major social media platforms in order to bring in massive amounts of traffic.  There are plenty of websites that have done just that, and they've been extremely successful without knowing much about SEO How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO

Getting on social media is one of the best options in promoting your business. With that, you can be able to introduce your product in your own way and you can put every information that the customers may need/ask about. It is also easier to communicate with their customers since they can be active on messenger etc. With the usage of social media, customers can be able to see your brand without leaving the social media app they are in.

I think having to do the legwork is something that we may have to get used to doing. It may be easier to try to get SEO going but it is not always the easiest thing to do. It is just one of the ways that we can promote though. Some of the other ideas are awesome too.

That's very true. It's been said many times that social media is the future of website promotion and it's no lie, that's for certain. The app you mention for example, since so many people are on their phones and handheld devices these days, they're more likely to spot a tweet of facebook post (sponsored or sent from your official account), about your business and interact with it from that direction. Than they are to spot an ad by adwords that appears on someones website. Especially because so many people with devices are heavily active on social media, and go there for news and other things.

Paying for ads on Facebook, Google, Yahoo!, and Bing is not a bad idea but it will cost you more money while the traffic is not stable because when you stop ads then mean that your web traffic will stop.

In that case, the best way to get traffic is as which you suggest, using social media, buying banner ads on related sites or using video marketing (Youtube).

You need a lot of money to do paid marketing on Google, Facebook, Twitter or other search engines and social media. I only have experience with facebook advertising. I think paid advertising on facebook is beneficial if you want traffic. As far as selling is concerned, it is difficult to drive sales with paid marketing if you do not have a product that has selling potential. I was unable to sell my children story boo with facebook paid advertising, however, I managed to get followers for my pages through facebook advertising.

You are right that advertising is not a thing to be used without evaluation. You can pay for expensive advertising that may not bring you the desired result. For a small time site owner I think Facebook Ads is getting popular because of the smaller budget requirement compared to other advertising providers. The best advantage in Facebook Ads is the PPC or pay-per-click package that you only pay when a reader clicks on the ads.

There are so many ways to advertise your website without SEO that you'd be doing yourself a serious disservice by just focusing on SEO as your sole plan for success. From social media, to flyers, to hiring a young, ambitious and passionate a street team with shirts, apparel, swag, stickers and more to hand out to interested parties in target areas.... there are all kinds of ways to get things done in terms or advertising your brand.

judas2018,
Good point here! I think that a lot of people use their sites to get people off of "the street" to come to them, but you are talking about PUTTING people on the street to get them to our sites. That's brilliant! I have only made some business cards to spread the word on my stuff, lol. I do a lot of readings of my material, and insert my card into my books that sell or give them out to interested attendees, so I guess that counts. However, your post is giving me more ideas here to explore and to use in order to get the word out about my sites, my content, and my writing in general!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Judas2018
Street teams are very effective, especially in large cities and urban areas. They use social media, special tags or symbols, put up posters, flyers - hand out swag or materials such as shirts. If you pay the right ones who also have a high level of expertise, they will even employ a professional and effective publicity stunt or live billboard to advertise your business. Something cool and attention grabbing, but also 'responsible.' The latter is important because a sloppy promoter working for you can create bad press and cause a stir.

Then your company ends up attached to a publicity stunt gone sideways or one which rubbed people the wrong way. Thus you'll gain site visitors who're coming to either complain, chew you out or threaten legal action. The last thing you want as a business are cops arriving on the scene to arrest your freelancers when they're carrying out your contract.

This is a one good way to market one's brand and expect a positive response or result for the project. I will definitely suggest this to a friend of mine who who runs a wrist watch business to carry out his brand marketing in such a way to seek better improved sales.

SEO is not the only method to bring traffic to your site, it is one of the ways to bring traffic. If you are doing SEO properly, your website will get higher. Having your website #1 does not guarantee the traffic but it only increases the likelihood of getting traffic. The keywords you have targeted for optimization must also be highly searchable. If you are in #1 position for the keyword that does not get even 100 hits in a month, there is no benefit of being on the number one.
That's why you should also focus on other areas as well. Social media marketing is a proven method to bring traffic.

People forget that google doesn't display your website at the top of the search engine rankings all the time either. While you may be on page #1 for search terms at a particular time, people all across the world are using google. Not all of them will be searching for your chosen key words, and the ones who are - won't always see your site on page 1, or even ranked at the top of page 1.

If you do the right SEO methods, you can easily reach the number one spot on Google. This has happened to me many times. However, you cannot stay there forever. This also has happened to me. While you should concentrate on ranking, however, you should never focus only on SEO, you should consider other traffic generation method as well.

Depending on your niche, getting to the number 1 spot in google search rankings might be easier said than done, or might actually be more possible than not.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

reaching on #1 depends on number of factors, for instance the number of quality backlinks, social signals and keyword usage. If you have targeted high competition keywords (the keywords that get high search query and already has been covered on numerous websites), getting on top can be really hard, however, if your keywords are less competitive and it has not been extensively covered only, it is easier to reach number one.

I couldn't agree more. Social media platforms are just a huge part of advertising and marketing.

I have personally been using it and have gained an insane amount of traffic increase to my blog. Even if you make something like a Facebook business page and get it popular, you can monetize it.

Social media is always my best bet when talking about traffic. It is the largest pasture in the internet for marketing. What’s good in social media is it’s free and easy. You can market your website by posting the link. Of course, the post needs something that accompanies the link of your website, a description or better is an invitation for social media users to visit your website. Their curiosity may urge them to take a look if your spiel is mysterious or intriguing.

That's exactly how I exploit the social media in marketing my business both online and offline activities. It gives me lots of fresh potential customers and clients for my products and services without my struggling too hard to get these customers/clients. But with just a few clicks and typing and posting on the social network, comes the inflow of clients and customers.

Social media marketing and publishing videos on YouTube is great way to produce solid amount of traffic for any blog and if you have popular fan page or profile on social networks, or if you are influencer, then even better because you can get it all free without buying ads like on facebook or twitter...
I am using this method and it also helps my SEO too with social signals. Sometime even with good SEO tactics, it's hard to beat competition, so SMM is way to go ;)

Right, social media will help a lot to get more traffic, and help you to advertise what ever you want. A group page also will give you more access to each of the members to become interested and possibly become your viewers or visitors also.

SEO is the best strategy to get organic traffic, however, SEO is not the only traffic generation method. You can do search engine marketing, social media marketing, and email marketing to generate traffic. The best part of social media marketing is you can do this without spending a dime, however, it takes time to benefit from the free marketing on social media. Paid advertising on Adwords, Favebook and Twitter are some of the best strategies to drive traffic.

1) Social media ~ I've tried and am seeing results.
2) Ads ~ I tried with some results.
3) BuySell Ads ~ has been recommended in various other articles that I have read. Have not tried yet.
4) YT Videos were suggested when I first start working online. I have not tried 3 and 4. But it's good to know that I don't have to know SEO.

YT does not always works for everyone despite many who think that way. New rules on YT makes it harder for anyone to make serious money. And that is one more reason why people should be reasonable with their investment into the media. I guess we learn from our raw experience though. so we have to take what may or may not work and apply things that work.

I think it's more towards the left wing ad networks taking over ad control. And now many non left wing views are being banned. And also even normal channels are affected with the ads. So it's more or less issues that are going to be there with the youtube. Hopefully in near future this can change as well.

It's no detailed analysis or anything. I've been an Amazon Associate for a while and last year noticed that I'm starting to earn commissions. It's not a windfall like thousands of dollars. But I had not really been earning at all. I did start earnestly sharing via social media ~ mainly Twitter and Facebook. I also got more active using VigLink and sharing via social media as well. I attribute the earnings to my SMM efforts since it's the main thing with my marketing strategy that I am doing differently. My blogs and websites have been up and running for a while. But I wasn't an active social sharer. Also, I think some of online friends are helping me share my links as well.

Great question! I use whatever links are allowed. How to boost your traffic and you know nothing about SEO Long links and the shortened Amazon links. I test sometimes to make sure I don't get a spam message. Also, sometimes Amazon gives a link error message and I have to edit my pin. (O.o)

If you check Pinterest you can see others use the shortened or unshortened links as well. They work just fine!

NOTE: Also, I don't know if you are a ShareASale affiliate but you can pin your SAS affiliate links. But like I say, check them, just in case. With these, I suggest you do not use the shortened links.

Just when I've finally wriggled my way out of the grasp of social media, I'm going to have to jump back into it now that I'm starting my website. It really is unavoidable in this day and age, and I suppose with good reason. I've been avoiding social media because it has felt very toxic to me lately, but there is no doubt that it is the best way to reach people in the modern era.

I do plan on integrating YouTube videos with my site as well, the plan being to create videos based on written content, for those who don't feel like reading. Not to mention it just generally increases my audience.

DenisP,
I hear you on this! I was wanting to cancel my Facebook account, for instance, but right when I almost did so, I started seeing traffic coming from my social media posts to my blog and other sites. So, I ended up keeping my profiles up and running. sometimes, social media is just a necessary evil, I think. My social media became toxic to me after my girlfriend dumped me, and I kept being tempted there, for a while, to look at her page, etc. However, I moved on and matured and got over that, lol. Even if social media is toxic, you can find a way to navigate it. For example, I blocked her and some of our mutual associates in order to keep myself emotionally healthy.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I don't think that social media is inherently a bad thing. When it had initially started out, it was a really great tool for not only keeping in touch with friends and family, but meeting new people through mutual friends. It was a simple format with a simple purpose. But as it grew more popular, people became really obsessive with it. It went from a means of communication to a psychologically unhealthy popularity contest, and last year was when I finally drew the line. I won't mind using it for business purposes, but never again will I spend hours sifting through my news feed, feeding people's narcissism.

I understand the feeling of trolling through your ex-girlfriend's profile after a breakup. It can get really addicting and unhealthy, so I'm glad that you've come to terms with it and moved on. All the best buddy, there'll be others.

If you have skills to create videos and you can make videos for your written content, then you are killing two birds with one stone. You are not only driving traffic to your videos from your articles and vice versa, but also earning revenue in two platforms. I think DYI topics do well with videos. People like to watch something if they want to learn it instead of reading the long instructional article.

Ads are always a good way to boost traffic as long as you know how to make an effective one, and Social media especially the most popular ones will always be one of the best ways to get the word out about your site. Youtube is more difficult to infiltrate since you actually have to make a decent video which will attract attention with a good enough quality and unlike social media, there is a dislike button on youtube so it may lead to negative results. Still, if you are looking to improve, it always helps to have knowledge about SEO.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

paid advertising, whether you are doing through facebook, twitter or adwords is a good way to drive traffic and sales. However, the ROI depends on how you are doing it and what you have advertised. I advertised my children book through facebook. I was able to get traffic, however, conversion was low. I think the conversion would have been better if I had advertised a product that had high chance of selling.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

treecko142
Yeah, it still depends on the marketability of your product and if there is a target audience for it. For niche items, you need to market to your target population more focused, so you might have too personally advertise through other related websites.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vinaya
If the product does not appeal to the market, no matter how you market the product, you will still be unable to drive sales. The most important point to consider when you are are doing paid marketing is whether there is an interest in the product or not. Second important point is target customers. If you sell video games, you will have to market your product to the games, not to the housewives interested in cooking and knitting.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

treecko142
Yeah, you need to be clear about your primary and secondary targets for the products which will be the focus of your marketing campaign. Of course, you need to do research at the very start regarding the marketability of your product in mind if it will appeal to the general public or at least to your target population.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

If you are paying for facebook or twitter campaign or doing search engine marketing for a blog that is only monetized with network ads or affiliate ads, you might not get a good ROI. However, if you are paying for the ads for your exommerce site, then there might be a great ROI.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

treecko142
Yeah, you can still make use of facebook or twitter to advertise without having to pay for it, so you might want to shift your funds to other advertising opportunities.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

apart from paid advertising on facebook and twitter, you can also do search engine marketing. You can start with ad word campaign. You can target your ads to a certain location and region, you can choose the keywords. The adword campaign will help you to appear on the paid listing of google in the chosen keywords. Since adword is pay per click program, you will pay only when someone clicks your ads.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Adword is very practical and is really effective too for the price that you need to pay. It certainly helps to be able to target the location where you want to make your ads available.

The best thing about adword campaign is anyone can spot your ads because everyone of us uses Google. If you are advertising on facebook, on;y facebook users will see your ads and not everyone is on facebook these days. In fact, the youth have ditched facebook and moved to other social sites.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

treecko142
Yeah, especially with the delete facebook movement going on right now, it may only be a matter of time before the majority of the population move to other social media sites, while google will always remain to be the top search engine.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

vinaya
Facebook and google might lose userbase, howeve,r they will continue to dominate the internet world for a long time. It is not easy to topple facebook as the number one social networking site and Google as number one search engine. Google might lose its market share. Currently it has almost 70 percent market share, it might drop to 60 or 50 for that matter, however, no other search engine will take over Google.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

treecko142
Yeah, Google is just the best currently, and it generally is not involved in any controversies recently, but there are existing alternatives for Google so there will always be competition. Facebook, on the other hand, doesn't really have an alternative right now in terms of the variety of features that it offers. Other social media sites, such as Twitter/Instagram fill a very different niche, and so users who quit Facebook might find themselves using Facebook again as there is simply no existing alternative right now.

I like your advice here, as usual. I have has A LOT of great success with my sites by regularly using social media strategies and updates. I am completely new to SEO, and I am just getting started, so I am pretty much teaching myself about this as U go and learning things every day from others. I do not have a lot of money, but as I start to earn more I totally plan on investing in ads in order to boost my traffic and to monetize my sites while using the content to entice more people to what I am doing! Youtube videos are also a great idea, but I am not quite sure how to go about filming myself or someone else in order to make a quality short film regarding my products. I am also extremely camera-shy, and I know I need to try to get over that. Thanks everyone, in this forum, for all of your great suggestions!

Your right. Video is really valuable asset, it will attract more visitors and make your site more engaging, Information retention is significantly higher for visual material than for the simple text. Video marketing is an excellent way to grab, and hold your visitors attention and increase traffic to your website.

Yeah right, and it should be interesting, so, the visitors will stay there to finish the video, and be consistent also by doing that same format of video to keep the visitors subscribe and keep coming back to your website. And that's how the viewers become bored on videos sometimes, and they will immediately look for another interesting video with the same content or topic. as long as possible give the details or every things that the viewers wanted to see in humorous content but never forget the purpose of that videos, the video should also consider to entertain the viewers.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yeah, some people make videos just for the sake of doing it, without considering the entertainment value of the video. Some just have a boring guy read random facts about the site and consider it a day, which isn't really helping more than just a normal banner ad.

It is true that facebook is very powerful social media site. It has the highest number of users and also gets the highest number of traffic compared to other social media sites. However, facebook is not the only social media that you should focus on. There are many other powerful social media sites. Take Pinterest for example. According to stastics, about 80 percent people who check products on Pinterest end up buying the product. Pinterest also has 150 million monthly active users.

Great discussion, I also use linkcollider it is a free site and it is similar to like4like sites out there. Earn points for liking viewing and following on social media platforms and then add your website. Members will do the same this allows members to share your site or blog by submitting it to tumbler or WordPress and also tweeting it and Facebook sharing it. I have used this to gain more traffic on a daily basis.

Concentrate on Facebook, it has over "2 Billion Active Subscribers" and it has everything you need. If you need traffic and conversion then why look somewhere else, everything is in it.

Yes, Facebook has 2 billion accounts. However, the main question is how many followers and friends you have. You need to have a large fan following to get maximum from your facebook marketing. If you are doing free, it is really hard to get people to check your posts. If your posts do not get engagements there is no point in facebook sharing. You need to do paid marketing to maximize your facebook marketing. You can boost your post, page or launch an advert.

That's why it's best to create your own Facebook group, pages where the in thing before and it was quite effective but ever since Facebook began controlling them people began migrating to group sites. Any Facebook Marketer nowadays can tell you that even from scratch you can built a new site, group site and page, all these 3 plus you can be a member of atleast 20 groups and have atleast 50 friends in 24 hours. If a group consists of 10000 members each then you now have 2M audiences when you post in these groups. Relying on pages and boosting them are a thing of the past. Concentrate in developing your own group and by being a member of a lot of groups, after which it's up to the content you'll be sharing, it should be interesting and it should contain your backlinks. Also make people share your posts because it will also help in SEO resulting to traffic flow and good Google rankings.

Creating groups and pages on facebook is easy, however, building members and followers is very difficult. I have 500 friends on facebook. When I sent an invitation to like my page, less than 50 friends were interested in my page. I posted link to my page on my timeline, I got likes for my post, but very few actually checked my page and hit like.
You can domfree marketing on facebook, however, free marketing does not convert well. You need to do paid marketing.

Yeah, social media is really the best site to get more traffic, imagine how many visitors they have, and if you will use that, it's more possible that you will get some traffic to your site. Just be responsible right now, because some social media right now, tags some advertisement posted on their site as spam.

vinaya pages rarely work groups are being used nowadays to funnel people towards their external site. You must be a member of groups related to your subject field and use your group to share your content this would create a multiplier effect hence you'll get a steady stream of good traffic.

I am on various facebook groups. The members of these groups are only interested in sharing their content. When I check the feed of the group, I can hardly see likes on the posts. This is very depressing because the group has more than 50K members. can you imagine on a group with 50 K members a post does not even get 50 likes? Membership in a group does not guarantee social signals and engagements. I only post to the related group. Before I post my link, I respond to the existing posts, still, I get very few likes and comments.

Social media platforms can definitely help us to increase the traffic to our blog. My second source of visitors are from Facebook. I have advertised my blog on other social medias but I have been getting more traffic from Facebook. My Facebook page is also growing at a steady rate. I have also used Facebook ads in the past and this has helped me to get more customers and more visitors on my blog. I recently learned about BuySellAdds and will check it soon.

Advertising is one of best ways to get some quick traffic. However, as a business owner, you should focus on building your brand so that you don’t have to rely on advertising to get traffic. Instead people would naturally visit your site.

Yes advertising in the beginning will give you huge exposure and you can use advertising to let people know about our site. However, advertising is not the only way to get website traffic. In fact, there are many ways you can increase traffic on your website, and we’re going to look at Some of them, including several ways to boost site traffic for FREE.

1. Advertise

This one is so obvious, we’re going to look at it first. Paid search, social media advertising and display advertising are all excellent ways of attracting visitors, building your brand and getting your site in front of people. Adjust your paid strategies to suit your goals – do you just want more traffic, or are you looking to increase conversions, too? Each paid channel has its pros and cons, so think carefully about your objectives before you reach for your credit card. If you would like to advertise on a small budget, it is suggested to visit Automarketer Pro for your traffic related needs.
If you’re hoping that more traffic to your site will also result in more sales, you’ll need to target high commercial intent keywords as part of your paid search strategies. Yes, competition for these search terms can be fierce (and expensive), but the payoffs can be worth it.

2. Get Social

It’s not enough to produce great content and hope that peoplefind it – you have to be proactive. One of the best ways to increase traffic to your website is to use social media channels to promote your content. Twitter is ideal for short, snappy (and
tempting) links, whereas Google+ promotion can help your site show up in personalized search results and seems especially effective in B2B niches. If you’re a B2C product company, you might find great traction with image-heavy social sites like Pinterest and Instagram.

3. Mix It Up

There is no magic formula for content marketing success, despitewhat some would have you believe. For this reason, vary the length and format of your content to make it as appealing as possible to different kinds of readers. Intersperse shorter, news-based blog posts with long-form content as well as video, infographics and data-driven pieces for maximum impact.

4. Write Irresistible Headlines

Headlines are one of the most important parts of your content.Without a compelling headline, even the most comprehensive blog post will go unread. Master the art of headline writing. For example, the writers at BuzzFeed and Upworthy often write upward of twenty different headlines before finally settling on the one that will drive the most traffic, so think carefully about your headline before you hit “publish.”

5. Pay Attention to On-Page SEO

Think SEO is dead? Think again. Optimizing your content for searchengines is still a valuable and worthwhile practice. Are you making the most of image alt text? Are you creating internal links to new content? What about meta descriptions? Optimizing for on-page SEO doesn’t have to take ages, and it could help boost your organic traffic.

6. Target Long-Tail Keywords

Got your high commercial intent keyword bases covered? Then it’stime to target long-tail keywords, too. Long-tail keywords account for a majority of web searches, meaning that if you’re not targeting them as part of your paid search or SEO efforts, you’re missing out.

7. Start Guest Blogging

Before you say it – no, true guest blogging isn’t dead, despite what you may have heard. Securing a guest post on a reputable
site can increase blog traffic to your website and help build your brand into the bargain. Be warned, though – standards for guest blogging have changed radically during the past eighteen months, and spammy tactics could result in stiff penalties. Proceed with caution.
