User experience is specific to the product usage by the user. Customer experience is specific to retail and e-commerce. So the customer experience results in whole lot that includes user experience. For each product and service this may differ. You can see that in some cases this may not be easier for all the sites to manage. In fact there are many books being written on this for the experience improvement. As you can see customer experience varies for each user.

In that sense which one would you describe as being the most
important? Or rather a good service focus on a bit of both?

User experience and customer experience actually go hand in hand and they are sort of dependant on each other. You can't have one without the other if you ever want to succeed. As a company or a business you want to put equal amount of time and effort into both.

Hope that this helps WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN USER EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Yes! I had figured as much. In fact, i believe that success and failure also are not dependant on a single factor but rather on several. So we have to work to fix most of the loose ends in order to have a decent quality level on our business.
Thanks for the tip!

User experience comes at the time of the customer acquisition. Customer service remains before, after and even after customer leaves the service or product. So that's the difference. That's why customer experience stays at the top of the entire experience chain. You can see that it could be different for many people. I guess we have to focus on both models depending on how we approach customer service for our service or product.

I see! I guess different business models have different priorities but i learned something from a good friend of mine. He used to say " Your Boss is the customer he is the one paying your wages.

Yes that's true from the context of the boos to employees. In context of boss, he considers customer as king, because it pays his wages. So that's how it works. That's why customer experience matters a lot. And that's why many bosses focus on making customer as priority from top to bottom. So I am guessing it's possible to build strong connections and have better sales.

HI there,
Tanks for your nice question. I think there has one main different between user experience and customer experience. User experience means, user get something as service or product and what he feels on product and serve quality according to all norms, that is user experience. And customer experience mainly related on support. For example, when customer purchase something as product or service, how well he got support by seller. So, both related with customer one from seller side and another from buyer side. And serve and product may anything web base service or local service. Product also may different, virtual product or physical product. But, experience depending on service and product.

I hope I could explained

In my point of view, I find them both to be the same. You can call a customer a user as well since he or she is using your services or your site. It's different from the owner experience though. We are all users here and when it comes to our experiences in using this kind of service, then I'd say it's subjective.

I think that anyone can be a user of a site, but the user may or may not be a customer. I think customers are those who are actually buying something. I think customers are more important than users, but to become a customer one has to be a user first.

This was a great question--I agree with what kgord said, above--we have to keep them and interest them long enough to "make" them into customers. With one of my blogs, which I am trying to use to promote eBooks, I notice that I get a lot of traffic and comments, so I have "users", but I want more customers buying my book, of course. Either way, I am glad that I am providing good content.

User experience is about the basic functionality and the value a user Derives. While customer experience is the average rating, overall the users active on the platform.

You can say opposite also. Like- the visitors which are coming to your website and taking the service those can be call user and the service you are giving in this world to your customer up to delivery- that is called customer service.

Thanks

I think user experience is simply the experience of your visitors, ie the people who access your site, but who are not yet your customers.

The customer experience refers to its customers, that is, the experience of the users who have already become their customers. This has a lot to do with the

after-sales and quality of care issues.

User experience relates to the experience of visitors to your site. Customer's experience relates to the visitors or members of your site who buy products and services. When you visit Amazon store and do not buy anything you are just a user, when you buy products from Amazon, you are a customer. If the users have good experience with your site, they will be your customers.

Let me share what I know because I had an offline business before. A customer experience means a long time relationship of a buyer and a seller. If the service and products are good then the customer has a good experience. A user experience is all about something that a person can use like a website or a forum. This is short of saying that user and customer are 2 different animals.
