11 - 20 of 20 Pinterest Marketing Tips

This is part 2 of my 20 pinterest marketing tips which will help anyone out when they're trying to increase their traffic. We all know what pinterest is, so I'm not going to get into detail about that. If you don't know what pinterest is then you've likely been living under a rock lol. Basically it's a website or social platform where you "pin" posts and people read them. That's a pretty simple description for one of the biggest social media platforms in the world lol.

Let's get into it.

11 - 20 of 20 Pinterest Marketing Tips

11. Making it easy for people
You have to make it easy for people to pin your images, the easier the better lol. You'll need to have pin buttons on every image and having a something that will be static, or floating, on your pages which stands out will increase the chances of getting a pin.

12. Give the people content
People don't want to come to someones profile and see that they have 1 board and 1 post. They want to see an active profile with various boards, posts, pins, unicorns, etc. You should try to build up your boards as much as possible, maybe 50 posts of niche related relevant content to your profile would be best. Anything under that might look like you're not trying and you have a basic profile that was abandoned. You'll need to optimize your titles and descriptions for obvious ranking purposes, but we already went over that.

13. People Love Infographics
I've noticed that infographics do pretty good on Pinterest because they usually have a good amount of info and are pretty. There are plenty of infographic services here on SEOclerks so you have no excuses not using them lol 11 - 20 of 20 Pinterest Marketing Tips

14. Keep it Updated!
By keeping everything updated, especially in the SEO niche, you will show people that you're on top of your game and they can come back to see what you have on your boards in order to stay on top as well. The only thing with the SEO niche is that people will usually have different sources of info to stay informed instead of pinterest. But most other niches will work well 11 - 20 of 20 Pinterest Marketing Tips

15. Make some templates
Make some templates in order to have your pinterest images show perfectly, this will also save time. You can then just add your unique titles, descriptions, keywords, etc. and save it as a new image. A lot of people seem to be using canva.com for something like this and the good thing is that you can do it for free 11 - 20 of 20 Pinterest Marketing Tips

16. Be Active
No matter if you're on facebook, instagram, or LinkedIn... You need to be active in order to have the best benefit from that specific platform. When using automation, like mentioned in my last discussion, you can post regularly on auto pilot. You can even outsource the work to a third party service and they will do everything for you 11 - 20 of 20 Pinterest Marketing Tips

17. Repin your own pins
When you are pinning your own posts you will need to click the "see it now" button and add your pin to all the relevant boards. You can even add it to any groups you are a member of as long as it's relevant.

18. Create your images knowing they're going on pinterest
The best pinterest image will have everything in it. You can have an image with the best title and a great subtitle all on the image. Think of what people will see when they stumble upon your listing when they see it within a search result. If your image has everything on it, you'll get some clicks and such 11 - 20 of 20 Pinterest Marketing Tips

19. Pin some of your products
Some people always forget to do this because they get too caught up in the marketing game that they forget about their own products lol. Be sure not to do it too often because you don't want to seem spammy. Once or twice per 20 posts should work, but you might be able to get better results the more you post. The only downside is that if you do it too much you might not get as many repinns.

20. Share the love, pin other products
As mentioned in the last CD I posted, you can pin peoples products and get your affiliate link in there. Be sure to use a URL shortener to do exactly that, shorten the URL 11 - 20 of 20 Pinterest Marketing Tips Optimize everything that you can and you should get some affiliate sales 11 - 20 of 20 Pinterest Marketing Tips

In Conclusion:
These 10 pinterest marketing tips are a great way to increase your traffic and sales directly from your website. I have noticed in social media that content is always important. And I understand that when people go to your website, they are after the contents and not after the design. But I know that building up boards is not an easy chore. You need to put in a lot of time and creativity in what you are posting. But after all those efforts and dedication, I’m sure you will be reaping the rewards later.
