Whiteboard animation videos. - Here's one of mine. Feedback would be appreciated.

Freelancers,
I recently made a whiteboard animation video for my service. - What do you think?

I used Sparkol Videoscribe to make it. I wouldn't say that it's totally easy to become an expert and I'm no way near an expert yet, however, I did come up with this and I consider it to be the second draft so far. The reason I create this topic is to ask you for advice and feedback. Anything would be appreciated.

By the way, Sparkol gives you a 7 day trial in case you want to try it out for free of charge. - It might be better to try it before actually buying or paying their monthly fee.

So, any advice? Whiteboard animation videos. - Here

Also, do you think whiteboard animation videos are good? - I personally love them, which is the reason I want to use one myself too.

Best Regards,
hitmeasap

Is it online or you need to download a software?

VideoScribe is a software. You can install it and use it on multiple computers but you can only be logged in on one computer at a time.

Oh bummer, I much prefer using things that are online and not software that I have to download to my computer.

Oh I love it Andre, well done. I am very impressed. I would love to know how hard that was for you to create? You know for someone like me that has like zero design skills. It even took me a little while to figure out Canva...

I love whiteboard animation videos, I find that they keep my attention. I'm not sure what it is but I love following the animation.

How much does Sparkol Videoscribe cost? Maybe you should offer animation video services here too, that could cover the cost of using their services!

I've used VideoScribe a bit before so this wasn't difficult at all actually. I personally think the hardest part is to come up with the "story" so to speak. It costs €11 / month if you pay yearly. €20 / month if you pay monthly and €480 for a one time payment.

I thought about offering these kind of videos earlier but I don't know.. As I'm still learning I can't really come up with a decent cost for something like this. Especially as it takes quite some time too, and that's usually not time I can spare. - I do love these sort of videos though. It's usually fun to watch and as long as the videos aren't 30 minutes long or something like that, then I have no problem with them at all. Whiteboard animation videos. - Here

Well I would certainly buy a service like this. Yeah I know, the story is a bit tough to come up with. I used a free online animation service to do a video for my Youtube channel and it was simple enough to use but I think an animation one would be a lot more tricky right?

The whiteboard animation videos are much nicer to watch than the one I managed to do.

That is the problem, it always comes down to time too doesn't it?

Yes indeed, it always comes down to time. It seems like most people who's offering these kind of videos request the story/text from the buyer.. So what they basically do, is to compile it and add a little bit of this and that and they're ready to deliver. That could be quite lucrative actually.

Especially when you can add extras for HD 1080p, 720p, 30 seconds longer video.. 60 seconds extra etc. The question is, how much you would actually be able to charge for something like this.

I'm not sure how much I would pay, since I always like to try and save money and do things myself as far as I possibly can.

Then again I probably wouldn't order loads of videos... so that means the price could be a little higher for a one off.

Yes I agree with you that you would need to get the story/ text from the buyer and an explanation of what they wanted.

I would pay maybe $10 - $20?

You could also maybe throw in some extras like if they tell you what their keyword is you can provide them with an SEO juicy Youtube description and headline...and a Youtube thumbnail image... you could even do some Youtube keyword research and provide a whole package. Then I think you could charge a bomb for it.

Yeah, there's literally hundreds of extras you could provide.. All it takes is some out of the box thinking and you'll come up with superb ideas!

The funny thing with these videos is that freelancers like myself provides such videos for anything between $5 and $50.. Meanwhile the same kind of freelancer who's getting deals with companies are charging anything between $299 and $899 for the same video. - I've actually seen this myself and that's just.. incredible.

That being said, I do agree with you that one should be able to charge around $10-$20, depending on a few things like background music, length of video and quality. - Perhaps I'll look into this in the nearest future. Whiteboard animation videos. - Here

I would be interested in the whiteboard animation only, but I know that the other extras would go down really well.

Oh you know what you could also do? You could add in some extras for Youtube ranking services, like what Mike offers!

That would go so well together!

Cool so you've learned how to use the software and you are now offering it as a service, not bad at all mate! The video is high quality and the story is very good, but is kinnda missing something, VOICE, adding a good voice would be the topping on the cake for such a service and I bet you could have a lot of buyers willing to pay quite the big cash to have one of these animation done for their companies since most of them will only need one for their presentation.

Thank you Cristian!
Yeah I now. I'll probably talk to Lynne or something about the voice ;) - Not that she's ever offered to do voice overs or anything, but I like her accent and I don't like my own Whiteboard animation videos. - Here

Anyhow, I don't provide whiteboard animation videos myself as a service. Not yet at least, as I don't believe I'm good enough to charge someone for it.. I also have limited time to create videos so I can't really do it at this point, but I will. Hopefully. Whiteboard animation videos. - Here

I agree@lynee I also prefer to use things that are online and not software that is downloaded. I like that you have whiteboard animation skills. This makes you really marketable. People with these skills usually get alot of money for making white board animation videos. Great job. Now market yourself on online sites and see if you can make some really good money. Try sites like upwork.
