Google Youtube Trueview for Action Ads

I have just come across this Google Youtube Trueview for action ads that was introduced yesterday by Google Adwords.

This is basically a call to action that you can display at the base of your video during and after your video.

I have yet to play around with this myself but I think that this is going to be a really nifty way to increase conversions with Google Adwords on Youtube.

I like the look of it and I am looking forward to seeing how this works for me and how I can incorporate this into my video marketing strategies!

This seems pretty awesome and it looks like the adwords team is starting to help out its advertisers instead of just taking their money and saying "Well, we're not sure why your ad has a horrible click through rate. You might want to look it over a bit more.... ***Google now counts their money*** " lol Google Youtube Trueview for Action Ads

I always skip the ads when possible because I don't want to wait for a call to action button to pop up. I don't think I would have clicked through to the website after the video was done either way, but now I may be more inclined to do so since I like to learn stuff and I'm a sucker for the "Learn More" buttons lol Google Youtube Trueview for Action Ads

It's also pretty awesome that it shows your URL on the video now. I don't think it did in the past and that sucked because people sometimes will see the ad URL and type it into their browser to see what the website is about. This helps you out by saving you some cash since they aren't actually clicking on your ad Google Youtube Trueview for Action Ads And we all like saving money, right?

I agree with you totally there Razzy. I think it looks so much nicer too and much more clickable in my opinion. I also very rarely click through from Youtube at this moment but I like you, think I might click on one of these call to actions.

Well, it seems to be more engaging than their previous advertisements. I wonder what Youtubers will think of this, and the fact that Youtube is aggressively acting on their "Advertiser-friendly content guidelines". Perhaps it means a new Youtube experience for both viewers and Youtubers a like?

Are you sure these ads are ads are displayed at the base of the video? Because for a couple of days now, I'm noticing ads right in the middle of a youtube video, the actual length doesn't seem to matter much, after a couple of minutes a couple of seconds ad appears and I have to click skip.

To be honest, I find them very intrusive, I can understand placing ads at the begging on the video, at the bottom of the video, at the end of the video, but not right in the middle of the video!

I feel like I'm watching TV! And I haven't watched TV for a lot of time now. I'm seriously considering installing an ad blocker on my personal laptop, even though I dismissed the idea because I work in a niche were seeing ads and paying attention how and where the ads are placed is very important and I can learn a lot.
