    What are some of the best ways to get rid of a cold sore? I have my very first one and it hurts.

    I suggest using Carmex. This lip solution is what has always worked well for me.

    I have never had a cold sore. I know that my sister has gotten them and has also used Carmex on them.

    Having a cold sore can be painful, so I heard, but I would have to advise that you visit the clinic near you to get proper medication for the issue.

    Cold sores are caused by a Herpes virus, they are super annoying and painful, but you can handle those. They appear when you have stress, period, allergies, fever, whenever you are weaker than regular day by day. At home you can apply ice to decrease the feeling, take some ibuprofen for pain, and use Aloe Vera to help with restoring of the skin (it works great). But, to attack the virus you need medicines, so look for any cream or pills that contain Acyclovir, you can find those at Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens, or you can try on Amazon too.

    Lysine supplements are very helpful! It’s a immunity booster and can be found in the vitamin section, I use the brand Super Lysine Plus.
