    How many times a day do you check emails?

    I check my emails about five times a day. This lets me know if there is anything new from a client. Also, it helps to keep the spam down in my email box.

    I keep gmail open in a tab and check it about every 10 minutes or so. I am on a computer most of the day.

    I have a Gmail Notifier on my desktop. So everytime I receive an email, I will know and that's the time I will open a tab for gmail. But going back to your question, I guess I go to www.gmail.com on my browser in an average of 50+ times a day =)

    Do you get desktop notifications or have an app that updates your browser letting you know when you have an email? Most times, I have to go to Yahoo mail or Gmail to know that there is a new email and it can be a nuisance.

    Use Gmail / Hotmail or whatever notifier. You can have them as extensions on your Web browser like Mozilla, Chrome... This way you don't need to check emails, emails will notify you How many times a day do you check emails?

    At least 10 or more. I check it often to find out about different jobs from clients that I have. And to keep in touch with my family and such.

    I'm on my laptop working all day. So, I installed Thunderbird and just keep it open. It checks all my email addresses every 10 minutes. It dings, and has a little pop up if it has downloaded new mail.How many times a day do you check emails?

    I check my emails at work very often because I am required to do so as a technical referral analyst and since we usually just have 48 hour window to resolve cases. And also to be always on the lookout at more serious or complicated queries. It's because of the nature of my job.
    Now that I'm active online to check out all the freelance job opportunities and learning in the process, I now check my emails even at home very often which I don't used to do before.
