    you know Facebook is a popular social networking site .
    when you post your link on my Groups / Fan Page and your Facebook Timeline then every Groups/ fan and your Friend /follow people get notification & see your post and visit your website. so it is a good way to get more visitor on your site.

    Sharing on social media does not guarantee you any traffic. You have a facebook page, however, there is no follower, how will you get traffic from facebook page with no follower. You create a twitter account to promote your website, however, you don't have followers, how will you get visitors from twitter. Therefore, the most important thing for social media traffic is the number of followers. However, having a big number of followers does not guarantee traffic, your followers must be people who are genuinely interested in your content.

    Joining Facebook groups can be effective if you are a longtime member and a notable one. But if you are just an ordinary members, the admin may flag you as spamming when you post something that promotes your business. The Facebook pag is more effective for ordinary writers.     Posting on facebook groups can be effective, however, there are posting etiquette. Don't post for the sake of posting, post to attract engagements. You can attract engagements by sharing useful and informative posts. While posting always write a teaser and add hashtags. While posting on groups, you also have to consider the niche of the group. It is not wise to share your recipe article on a group dedicated to gamers.
