SEO PowerSuite has helped 500,000 webmasters improve their sites' rankings, so it will help improve you. If you have the time or resources, there are plenty of great “all inclusive” training courses that’ll take you from beginner to advanced student in the shortest amount of time possible. There are plenty of different training programs out there, though you’ll want to pay special attention to the following options:
  • SEOMoz’s “ Beginners guide to SEO”
  • SEO Book’s “SEO Training”
  • Bruce Clay’s “SEO Tutorial”

Hello everyone,

According to my experience SEO Training is a fast developing and changing industry, more so then any other industry I have ever known. Search engine optimization (SEO) is quickly replacing PPC advertising as more CEO's begin to see the worth of cheaply reaching massive audiences with highly targeted buyers, seeking information on the company's products or services. SEO must be part of your overall marketing plan and budget.

PPC advertising is extremely quick and targeted, but PPC is an expense and once the money is spent the worth is zero. SEO on the other hand is an investment in a high quality web asset that will deliver extremely high ROI for many years after the investment ceases.

High quality SEO Training will deliver skills to attract very highly targeted leads and in most cases the CEO in consultation with the SEO experts can precisely target and measure the exact leads they want and the ones they want to avoid.

Much to our disgust most organizations leave all the SEO activities to someone in the IT area who has no SEO training or mentoring and a person who is usually at best a web page designer or hardware tech guru. Unfortunately these people have only a very basic knowledge of SEO, and when it comes to internet business, SEO is the most critical step in the whole process. These days even a lot of the most professional looking websites on the internet score less then 10% when they are put through a mild SEO test.

Most expert SEO people we mix with are self-taught, highly skilled through knowledge sharing on public forums and enrollment in online courses. SEO Training and SEO courses, unfortunately is not something that can be taught well in traditional educational institutions. The reason for this is that the rules in SEO change so fast and so regularly that Universities and Colleges would often be teaching redundant information by the time they developed course material, recruited staff, advertised and took enrollments and then delivered a course.

Sure the basics of SEO training can be taught this way, but the cutting edge is very different. Over and over again we find that the best way for a company to conduct its SEO work is either to completely outsource the task or to hire a consultant for a budgeted number of hours to assist, mentor or report on what needs changing.

Hope everyone finds the above information useful.

Warm Regards
Rosy Anwood

I personally don't believe in SEO training because there is no qualified SEO professional who can train you. And for me SEO is a self learning process. You have to read blogs like SEL, SEJ, SEW etc .....

I admit that I am learning SEO to arm myself with skills on that aspect so that I can earn from it in the future. However, I have no budget for a formal learning but I am confident that I can learn and perhaps even be an expert someday by just roaming the discussions on this site. Right now I have maybe 30% of the needed knowledge and even if the learning is getting slower, the important thing is I am still adding information to my storage of knowledge.
