    First of all, evaluate your articles if they are well-written. For me as an example, I wouldn't read a blog that is messy with the grammar and substance. Second, check the information you are sharing if it is interesting. For a dog lover like me, I would love to read a blog about your dog but if the blog has nothing unusual or unique then that is a boring read. In other words, make your blog articles somewhat exciting to elicit interest from your readers. Besides, if a reader liked your article, he may come back for the next update.

    You are right in making contents the number 1 in your list because I think that is the first and foremost element that the website needs. But you still have to do the others in the list for the full force of the SEO work that will create instant traffic. With the backlinks, I don’t think they are related to the search engine ranking and they can give traffic to your website regardless of its ranking in search engines.
