Why is Facebook sending me fake page notifications?

Facebook is sending me notifications that an old Facebook page of mine has received traffic. However, when I checked that page, I didn't see any likes or views. Maybe Facebook is trying to get me to advertise?

Hi Sanfora,

I don’t think they are fake notifications. I personally get those messages on a Facebook page that has 0 likes. Facebook informs you when you get views but something you should remember is people who view your Facebook page won’t always like your page so therefore, you have no extra likes. People who search similar keywords to your page may end up finding your page so even though your page is inactive, you can still get traffic. If you want to stop these notifications, then you can delete your Facebook page if you don't need the page anymore. I doubt Facebook is trying to get you to advertise.

I sometimes see a notification about a comment to my post in Facebook. But when I click on the notification, it gives an error or sometimes I couldn’t find the particular comment that was in the notification. There’s also the notification about a new post of a friend which does not exist. That happens when the friend who posted had deleted the said post or comment.
