Hello procoder,
I'll share some details from one of my Facebook Fan Pages.

As you can see in the below screenshot, I have a total of 4,222 likes and got 3 new likes this week. You can also see my last post that was made on April 8. So about 2 months later, I still get likes. Without any new content.

I wouldn't call this a successful page though but, I've had some success with it at least, especially since I'm still getting new likes and all that without publishing new content..

So, let's dive into this and I'll explain what I've done.

I created the page & shared it with my friends. Some of them shared the page or a post or two. That basically means that things already got "viral", and it's the very first thing I'd recommend. Ask your friends to like and share the page. Especially share the page or content from the page.

Furthermore, to get people's attention, I did this:
First of all, I searched for pages in the same niche, or at least similar ones. When I found a bunch of them, I liked & comment on some of their most recent posts, but not as myself. I used my fan page when I did this.

Like this:
Visit the page you're about to comment on. Do you see the marked area? - Click on that.

When you've done that, you'll see a list like this:
As you can see, I can choose to like and comment as one of my fan pages instead of using my own profile.?

And that's what I did. I found a bunch of pages in the same niche or at least in the same "field" so to speak, and just liked and commented on the 2-3 most recent posts they had.. Not only did I thank them for their contributions, but I also did that using my fan page, which ultimately ended up in new likes & more shares on my own content. Obviously, you can't just randomly spam whatever you come across, you'll need to make sure that you still bring value to their pages. Also note that I've done this with all my pages and I've had the same kind of results on each of them.

With that being said, you could and should obviously promote your fan page in other ways to. For instance, on your service listings here on SEOClerks. You can offer people 10% discount for sharing your page, offer them 2 for 1 deals by doing 1 like, 1 share and 1 comment, the possibilities are endless.

Best Regards,

Setting up the page is the easy part. The more difficult part is finding good content to talk about and fans to read what you have written. As you likely know, much of what you post on Facebook never even reaches your fan's feed and many pages are experiencing a decline in organic Facebook reach - that is how many of your fans see your content.

Previously discussed at length on Hubspot
... meanwhile, suggests that for Pages with more than 500,000 Likes, organic reach could be as low as 2%

Based on the figures above, a Page with 10,000 fans could expect just 650 of them to actually see that Page's posts in their News Feeds. For a Page with 1 million fans, about 20,000 would end up seeing posts (based on the 2% figure)

Facebook's motive behind this seems to be their desire to earn more money by getting page owners to 'Boost' posts, that is pay to reach more of your own fans.

Some suggestions to fix this issue are to ask your followers to turn on all notifications for your page and to check your page frequently for updates as well as to interact with content, such as 'please like and share this post'.

Hi procoder I agree with you nowadays people are very active on social network and each and every day million of people expending their time on several network. So, this is one of the biggest part on interment for any business to promote any product. Among all of them facebook should popular one. And fanpage another way to promote your product and service like as Facebook group.

I have just few suggestion before creating any fanpage. Bev already said it is very easy to create any fanpage but difficult part is to contract with targeted audience.

> Choose a name basis on your product and business

> Design Page avatar and banner and use excellent cover photo which described your brand too

> Fill in the meta information. You must to describe your meta information in your fanpage what about this page

> Make content which looking really good and pin the most importance post

> Invite your friends to like your page
Select Invite Friends
Click the lists on the left or type a name in the search box to find friends
Click the names of the friends you want to invite
Click Send Invites

Finally you can boost your post by Facebook advertising

I've built up a great Facebook page over the last few years. I now have 40 000 Facebook fans which is quite cool.

What I did is make sure I post regularly to my page, I send relevant content from my blog to my Facebook page, I mix that in with a few fun pics and quotes. I've also made use of the Facebook advertising to slowly build up my page.

Sharing your Page content on your personal profile helps and competitions always go down well.

Networking with other people in your niche is essential and sharing content of other people in your niche helps, very often they will them share some of your content.

I have six facebook pages. The first facebook page I created was an author page. I was writing since a long time and I decided to promote myself as an author through facebook page. My second facebook page was my book (I have a book in Amazon titled Amazing Alphabet). I have also facebook pages for each of my websites.
Creating a facebook page is not very difficult. All you need is a facebook account. However, your facebook page needs followers, and getting followers is the hardest part of building facebook page. You can pay to get facebook likes, however, in most cases these likes are not the people who genuinely like your page. If you don't have genuine followers, it is very unlikely that you will generate traffic or sales by promting your website on facebook page.

Firstly, you will need a good niche and topic(s) for your Facebook page. If you have very interesting posts, then this will encourage people to visit your page from time to time and even if they miss your post in their news feed, they can still see your post. As they all say, content is king and it is the same with Facebook pages so this is definitely something you should put a lot of focus on. Once you have good content, people will share your page, tag people and this brings you more active members. On top of that, advertising with Facebook is definitely a good method. I tried this before with my Facebook page and I got a lot more real likes from that.

Facebook is truly used a great deal by many, and this highlights the need to use it as part of a marketing campaign. However there are two drawbacks:
1. You need to encourage people to like/follow your page.
2. You need to see that they actually see your posts in their newsfeed, and as stated above only a relatively small percentage of them actually see them due to Facebook's system. To make up for this try to ask followers to turn on notifications for your page.
Secondly, you need to encourage people to follow your page by offering an incentive. You could try giving freebies to whoever joins, offering discounts, setting up a competition - there are various things that could appeal to people and that will help to boost your page success and following.

Creating a fanpage is one thing and actually maintaining it is another, so create it with good interesting content to keep your readers coming g back for more insight that way our organic traffic would be high.

A Facebook Page is similar to a website. It is your own so it should carry your trademark. But before launching your fan page, be sure to have prepared the promotion. Maybe posting a sort of teaser on your timeline will stir interest among your friends. Make it slightly mysterious or controversial so they will await what your fan page really is. And when you create it, you will have instant followers among your friends. And, of course, the promotion doesn’t stop there, it is a continuing process.

There's no easy and fast way to have a successful fan page. You really need time and effort but if you do it correctly you would reap the benefits faster. My tip would be to create a Fan Page and connect a Group Page to it and start building your group.
