How do you measure you success in SEO? Do you go by your page ranking or is there a different way you find to measure your success?
Success in SEO is determined by where you're ranking for your targeted keywords in the Google SERPs! So if you're ranking #1 for something, that is success! It means all your hard work that you've put in has paid off. But that doesn't mean that your work should stop though. In fact, when you get those top positions, you should continue to do SEO because you can bet that there will be competitors doing the same thing still too to try and outrank you and get you moved from those top positions. In fact when you get those top positions, use the rewards that they bring such as more money and earnings back into the site into more SEO and promotion so you can earn more money and do more promotion and SEO and just get bigger and bigger and bigger and secure those top positions even more. That is the key to success.

One freelancer said that a relentless SEO work on the site can maintain the ranking particularly if the site is ranked number 1 in the search list. Uploading new contents regularly will give it an advantage over the competition with no new contents. The high ranking can be achieved especially when the content is of high quality that is directly related to the niche and has no grammar errors
You can measure success with SEO via several factors. The most common are
You can measure your success in SEO, If website getting more than 2000 Unique visitors/ Day then you can say !!! - Its biggest success in SEO.
Well yes well you can be getting 100 visitors a day and earning more than a site that is getting 2000 visitors a day. I mean, it all depends on the quality of that traffic and how targeted it is and if your site is appealing to them and they purchase your products or services. But with 2000 a day all organic or referral if its fairly good traffic such as coming from a site the same as yours then you can make a nice amount by monetizing it and experimenting with different ads and ad placements on your site. But 2000 a day is not the biggest success in SEO lol 200,000 a day or 2,000,000 a day on some sites mate!
Before your SEO started, there would have been a number of keywords that you chose. If you or the SEO did the right keyword competition analysis then these keywords should have large traffic numbers and low competition levels. Now you just need to track the keywords! Tracking keywords isn't difficult but in most cases it, it'll cost you money. You can check them for free with Link Assistant Rank Tracker but it won't save your results; my advice would be just to check the rankings once every couple of weeks and note down where they appear.
I think its all about conversion. If your websites starts earning, well, that means your doing something right, so keep doing it.
Yeah right. It's all about finding what's working and then expanding on that thing or in that area. Duplicating pages but in different ways for different things, products and services. If you start a blog and you start getting more traffic and better rankings by adding more content to it absolutely do not stop and keep doing so to double it all the time. The more you double your traffic, the more you will be able to double your earnings again and again.
SEO is not magic and there is no magic bullet either. SEO is a long term marketing strategy with high ROI opportunities. Because of its long term commitment necessary, is a well formed strategy key to success, a strategy that is followed and verified and scrutinized along the way.
Right! It doesn't happen overnight with SEO. Although that has happened before. I mean, I've launched sites in the past, whacked a couple articles on them and they've pretty much ranked high on their own. But that doesn't happen as much these days. You need age behind you and your backlinks. In that the more aged your backlinks are the better they can be for your site. But you also need a mix of aged and new backlinks as that looks good for your site and is perfectly natural for a site that is popular. You do need a strategy yes, but don't go mad on it and over do it you don't want to over-optimize your site because that can come under even more scrutiny!
Clients and visitors that's how i measure it how else can you
Well clients come about through having them on your site (traffic) but you can categorize clients into 3 different levels. Those that don't spend much, those that spend a normal amount, and those that spend a lot. And you would then need to look at how you're getting those big spenders and concentrating on that area of your marketing.
Clean tier 1
Good link juice
Success with SEO work is not easy to measure although the gauge that is on my mind is the traffic that the website is getting. If the traffic increases significantly after doing SEO work then it wouldn’t matter is the ranking doesn’t change at all. In fact, the reason why we want to be ranked higher in the search list is so that searchers can see the link of our website and click on it. In other words, we want traffic from the searchers.
Your success in SEO can be seen via the increased number of visitors, which is directly linked to rankings. Also in the increase of conversions / sales.
