Is blogging still lucrative?

Does anyone know may be blogging is still paying off or it's no more having any value as before, please let me know your opinion as this will help me a lot.

I think blogging is mostly dependent on the chosen niche.
This is reinforced when you look at Google Adwords highests annual advertisers. If your niche is not related to those; your missing a large pool of funds.

It is paying off big-time. The blogisphere has grown exponentially over the past couple of years except now there are many different forms of blogging and categories and sub-categories.

If I have not considered blogging to be lucrative, I would have never launched my blogs. I believe blogging is lucrative even though I have not build a good income from my blogs. In order to earn from your blogs, you need high traffic that also converts. You blog today and you withdraw money tomorrow. This kind of thing does not work in blogging. If you want to earn from blogging you will have to wait for years.

Yes is my answer to the discussion’s title. Blogging is still lucrative nowadays especially when the term Influencer was coined. A popular blogger is called an Influencer to mean he has the attention of thousands of people. And you can imagine the traffic that the Influencer’s blog can get in a day. That kind of traffic can make the Influencer rich as long as the new traffic keep on coming. Blogging is not really difficult as long as you know the rules and the ways and means to get readers.
