Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales

It's not the easiest thing to do, but using Facebook ads to build your following and gain sales is something that every website owner should be using as one of their main traffic sources.  You can scale this exponentially and dominate your niche over time if you do this right and keep investing into it while being active on your Facebook page.

Sometimes people think "I can set up some ads and immediately make $100+ per day!" but that's just not the case for most of us.  Sure, there are some ads out there talking about how they leverage facebook ads to sell a basic mug and make $10,000+ per day, but what they don't tell you is they're investing $9,000 to generate $10,000.  They make that video just to sell you a course and make their investment back lol.  The real world of Facebook ads is tough and takes time, so be patient and keep reading through this discussion Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales

Your Ad Copy
You can't write up just anything and expect to make money right away, you need to think of how to compose your message/ad copy before you submit it for approval.  What I like to do is ask a question, like "Do you need SEO?" because it gets people thinking "Why Yes, I do need SEO!" and then they click through to my website or like my page (depending on what ad I have running).

You should always add some sort of number in there to grab someone's attention; I like using #1 and adding my niche to it.  A good example of that would be "The #1 SEO Service Online".  You can't have the number at the very beginning of the title, so be sure to work it somewhere in there and make sure people understand it.

Ad Types
Like I mentioned above, there are different ad types to push in front of people you target.  I like using single image ads or even a carousel ad because they tend to work pretty well.  I use a strong image within my ad, usually, it's just my logo, so people instantly recognize my site when they click through, but you can switch it up and test out different images to see what works best.  Remember, your ad can only be 20% text or less, so be sure your image is made just right before you submit for approval.  You will get instantly denied if your image has too much text, if it does, just open up MS paint and paste your .png into a larger box that will increase it's size lol Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales  I did that for my most recent site, and it took 5 seconds to edit the image and get it approved.

You can have your ads do various things, but I prefer website traffic, and page likes ads, so try those out first and see what happens.  I'll run these two types of ads parallel to each other to get my branding kicked off and gain page likes at the same time.  I tend to get 50-100 likes per day, and around 30-40 website clicks at the same time.

Targeting
Your targeting is key if you want to be successful with this.  You need to exclude as many countries as possible, the ones you don't think can' afford your product, services, or just ones you don't ship to.  If you only work within your current country, then you should only target that single one and let your ads go wild lol.

Don't get too worried about your audience dropping as you get more targeted.  The better your targeting, the more likely people will purchase, so don't be sad if you're only getting 10 clicks and likes per day, those 10 are definitely people who are looking for something you have Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales  They may not buy now, but you can always get ads back in front of them later on Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales

Relevancy Score
This is where an aged ad and campaign will start to treat you better.  If your URL and Ad are doing well with the audience you're targeting, your relevancy score will increase, and that means you will tend to get more impressions and pay less per click, or like Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales  I was paying $0.25 per click when I started my recent ad and once my relevancy score got up to 9/10, after 6 days of running, I am now paying $0.08 per click Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales  It definitely pays off to keep the ad running if it's super relevant and your audience is reacting to it.  You'll pay less over time, and that means you can invest more in the campaigns and have a better ROI Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales

Building Up Your Page
If you plan to run ads to get likes on your page, you will need first to build it up slightly.  No one wants to click through to a page and see it has Zero posts!  It doesn't take long, and it's not difficult, so get to work for an hour and post a bunch of links and content to your Facebook page.

Once you have 20 or 30 posts on your website you're ready for ads, so get them fired up and always remember to answer any questions that may come in from your followers or strangers that are interested in your page Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales

Retargeting
The real power of building up your facebook campaign is to retarget people that have visited your website.  You can run an ad campaign to get website clicks, then retarget them with a service like Perfect Audience, and get them back to your website when they're just browsing the internet or when they come back to Facebook.

In my experience, Perfect Audience tends to be pretty expensive when you don't have a large audience to target. That's why I would recommend you set up your Perfect Audience campaign and let your audience build-up for a couple of months before you start to target them.  You can backtrack your targeting for three months and target anyone who has been on your website in the last 90 days.  Of course, they would still need your Perfect Audience cookie on their computer, but you'd be surprised how many people don't clear them lol Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales

In conclusion
If you can successfully do all of the above, you will be building up your Facebook page while getting traffic to your website and also bring people back who have already visited but left.  You can generate sales, post to your facebook page and bring people back to comment, and you can gain more sales through retargeting since it's like a reminder that they were on your website Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales

You're welcome Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales

I've been using Facebook ads to build a following and I'm currently getting between 30 and 300 likes on my community page each day. I have multiple "likes" ads running, each having their own purpose, and my page is building up quite fast.

One of my ads targets everyone in the world who likes certain things related to my niche and the other is super targeted. The worldwide targeted ad doesn't do much but build up the likes on my page while the other "likes" ad actually brings in people who really love my business/website. I have both of these running at the same time because people want to see a page that has a lot of likes because they will trust them a bit more.

Right now I have around 3,000 likes on my page and my competitors are sitting around 5k to 8k lol Using Facebook ads to build your following and sales

After I pass my competitors I will deactivate the one ad that is only running to build my page and let the more targeted one run continuously.
