I have started affiliate marketing here in seoclerks. Below are some methods that I want to share with you guys.
- Email marketing.
I have created a squeeze page with a product to download for free in return they will sign up for a subscription.
- Forum marketing.
Giving people knowledge and add backlink in signature of posts.
- Promoting on social media.
That's I think everyone knows ??.
You are welcome to share your methods and tricks. I will also post here an update of progress on weekly basis that how much traffic I am getting and how many affiliates.
So keep in touch.????
I like to build websites, not just squeeze pages, then put them on Adwords and Bing Ads to build up my lists. I will also have various ways to capture an email, not just a "Here's our newsletter" type form, but I will offer something for free or give them free advice for as long as they are signed up
A while back I read a story about a guy who offered free website advice, which was actually good advice, but he always sent people through affiliate links and he was making around $120,000 a year just being on his phone and texting or talking as a sort of consultant lol
Yes, you are right people mostly attracts to freebies ????.
I think bing ads are not that successful. And AdWords are too expensive for lead generation.
Bing Ads are definitely worth a try even though they don't have nearly as much traffic as Adwords. I use both and get leads from each of them all the time. I don't get as many leads from Bing Ads, but I do pay less per lead, and that's a win-win in my book
Everyone targets Google/Adwords because it's the main place that will send you the most traffic each day. I can have duplicate campaigns on both Bing/Yahoo and Google but the Adwords campaign will cap out on its daily budget whereas the Bing/Yahoo campaign will hit maybe 1/3 or 1/2 of its daily budget. I do pay less for Bing Ads, I do get quality leads from there, but the traffic can't compete with Adwords and that's why I run both at the same time lol
Also, set up some retargeting so you can get more of your ads in front of the people who have visited your website. The ROI on something like that is better than most Adwords or BingAds campaigns that I've worked on
Thanks a lot Tommy for such a detailed post.
No doubt that AdWords provide high quality traffic but do you think it's costly in terms of ROI?
It depends on your niche, competition, and what you're able to pay.
I've been in niches where I'm paying an average of $0.05 per click with crumby ROI and other times where I'm averaging $2.00 a click with great ROI.
It's possible to have a good campaign running on any PPC platform; you just need to have everything set up right and split test like a maniac lol. Don't get attached to an ad because it's been doing well for a month or two. You need to remove anything that isn't performing well and always be looking for the next thing that will work even better.
When I started with Adwords about a year after they launched, I was spending $50 a day and profiting anywhere from $300 to $2,000 or more. And the $300 a day was on my very low-end lmao Campaigns like that aren't as easy to come by because I was essentially putting my SEO company in front of what seemed like a billion buyers that all wanted backlinks. Ever heard of the term "It was like shooting fish in a barrel" well that's basically what I had in terms of my Adwords campaign lol. I wish I could get that going again, but the CPC is too high now, and I can't compete with the multi-million dollar companies spending $1,000+ per day on just Adwords :'(
You are lucky to get such a low cpc . You are right nowadays there is so much competition specially in the niche that you are into. There are lots of big fish in market and anyone like us can barely compete with them.
Best of luck with your journey.
Are you working on being part of any affiliate networks?
Because I've heard if you propose that you have x number of double opt in email subscribers in x niche, apply this way and go through the process it has a much higher success rate.
Thanks for your input. I have been part of various affiliate networks. And yes double opt-ins can make big difference.
Have a wonderful day.
Hope you are well. I have been working as a part time freelancer and outsouricng worker from 2003 and I have been working as a full time freelancer and outsouricng worker from 2011. This is the only earning source of my life. At 2016 I was out of Internet for 107 days. Those 107 days I was not present on internet. But I had some affiliate members on SEOClerks under my referral link. By this time I had lost my android and after 107 days when I come to seoclerks- I have checked 93$ on to my account from affiliates sales. I got astonished and got huge happy and withdrawn that dollar and bought a new android after that day. I had used that android for 3 years continuously and this is my first affiliate earnings on this world. Previously I didn't got success on to this. I just share my affiliate link with my reliable and trusted online circle. Now near about 300 K traffic on to my links are available.
So wish you all the best. Happy Affiliate marketing!!!
Wow it's like a lottery ticket opens ??. Thanks for sharing your story. How do you make your trusted circle, do you blog?
Thanks for the message and reply.
Yes. I do blog often. I have social media friend circle.
Trusted circle means communicative circles only.
Within social media I am connected with huge freelancers and outsouricng worker.
They are joining regularly.
Out of your methods there have huge chance to get scam except forum post technique only.
You can generate traffic from different media to your link only.
Great! yes social media is a great way to communicate, get genuine traffic and built trust. But it takes time to built reputation in social media and lots of people are unable to fulfill it.
Thanks a lot Centurion.
One of the buyers was gracious enough to promote my affiliate link on his website. Although there are 82 clicks so far, none of them converted to sale yet... Maybe i need to wait for couple more months i guess.
Are you promoting your affiliate link in relevant niche?
