I would start with creating a good channel cover photo or however it is called on youtube. Also, the profile picture should be simple yet meaningful. What is also important is the name of your channel. You should choose the name that is appealing. What you also got to do is share. Share your channel on social media, tell your friends to share it in order to gather more subscribers. And post good stuff and videos. I hope this will help you. Good luck!

Do you cross promote on other forms of social media like Facebook and Instagram? I find that those really boost engagement on YouTube. If you’ve got an advertising budget you could even pay for ads on Instagram for instance that link to your YouTube page.

Promote it to the closest friend even if only forcong them to watch your videos and subcribed.
Quality content.
Uniqueness as much as possible.
Having a profile picture and details on youtube is one of the key because to ensure your not a dummy account so they can follow you.

You are right. Those are really good points. My primary concern is the quality of your content and the relevance of the videos to the issues. Most of the watched videos in YouTube are all bout the hot topics and hot issues discussed in most of the social media sites. The relevance of your videos to the issues can get you more views and generate more traffic to your YouTube channel.

Link to your channels videos. Individually or channel as a whole. Some people also link to the playlist and that works out as well. I have learned that some people can do better with the youtube in that context. You have to constantly promote your content. And you have to reach out more people who can watch your content. Make sure that you are giving them better content. So that you don't have to worry about the downvotes. Also write blog post and make sure to promote the content say video through that.

You can use social media as a way to promote your channel. Another is using the right set of keywords to make sure your videos are easier to find in searches. Also, make sure you use eye catching banner and picture on your YouTube channel, this will always stir interest in viewers. I think that this is a million dollar question. I think that Youtube is one of the most difficult social media platforms to get an audience on. Its always advised that Youtube is a search engine and that you should use keywords just the same way you do to get ranked on Google. Problem is that the rules on Youtube are not as clear cut as those on Google. I would use other platforms to drive traffic to Youtube.

As a YouTuber myself, what I did is join many Facebook groups and post there my links (videos mostly). That way I would get an audience traffic. Another thing I did is to vary the subject of my YouTube channel. To attract all sorts of people interested in different things I had to upload both political and gaming videos, even humour.

Are those groups especially aimed at exchanging YouTube links? If not maybe it'd considered spam, unless you share in groups related to the topics of your videos. I suggest sharing links in spaces specifically related to what you're sharing, that way there's a greater possibility that you'll induce genuine interest.

First of all, if you're going to be using social media as a way to advertise your channel, please avoid being one of those pushy spammers. Go ahead and insert your channel into your posts, but don't overdo it.

Anyways, one thing you could also do to get traffic to your Youtube channel is to find a niche. I'm not saying that you should be too specific, but make sure your content isn't too broad so it becomes unique from other channels. For example, your plan is to become an action figure reviewer. It's better to be known as the "Godzilla and Mecha action figure reviewer" than "just a toy reviewer".

You can also join an fb group for the type of channel that you have and cultivate that relationship there then advertise your channel. I advice against buying youtube views. The reason being many people have lost channel. And also the bad bot views or even the wrong country views can lead to low income. In some cases google discounts those views. And that ends up not helping the channel. I think for that reason I find out that youtube view buying or channel buying is not a good advice.

The best option if you want views is either do collaboration with another youtuber with subscriber. Or simply pay the infuleuncer to promote your videos and channel in their views. That works out. Views are often fabricated from those who sell the view service of youtube. And that could work against you. That's why you should not buy views.

I believe the only way to get quality views and subscribers on your YouTube channel is to make great quality videos. If you have great videos than you will get the likes, views, and subscribers you're longing for. Everyone has to start from the bottom, there is no method to launch yourself/brand to the top.

Do not buy fake views or subscribers because you just may put your YouTube channel in jeopardy in being disabled. I have seen many new youtubers doing this and then complaining that their channel was disabled and they had to start over. Do not follow in their footsteps.

How to boost visibility via YouTube:

- Upload consistently (at least twice weekly, for new youtubers I would probably suggest at least 3-4 videos per week just to get your videos out there)

- Create quality videos in your channel niche

- Reply to videos in your niche (this may help you gain some recognition and people may view your content)

These are some tactics I use, and just in 1 day I gotten 35 subscribers by doing this, and they still haven't unsubscribed from the channel yet.

We also have a Youtube channel that is needing more traffic and also subscribers because we have not reached the minimum number of subscribers yet. What we are doing now is to improve the tags of the videos although sometimes it is boring to do that but I can’t see any other way to get viewers and subscribers for our videos. Of course, promoting the video will also work but I really don’t have time for that now.
