Align your website with a worthy cause and people will buy from you

A lot of people around the world are genuinely good by nature, and they will gravitate towards businesses that tend to do good things, and that's why if you were to align yourself with a good cause you could actually increase your profits.  Think about it, how often have you seen a business say "We give away 50% of our profits to kids in need" and they list the charity they send money to?  These companies tend to get more sales because they're generally run by good people.

On the other hand, there are companies that say they will give away 100% of their profits but the owners of the companies pay themselves 99% of the profits and that means only 1% is free to donate to charities.  These types of companies are just abusing the good nature of others to increase their own profits, which should be stopped, but it's perfectly legal to do this Align your website with a worthy cause and people will buy from you

In this discussion, I'll be going over a few ways you can boost your websites traffic, sales, profits, and customer loyalty by aligning yourself with a worthy cause.

Donate XX% of your profits to a charity or organization
An example I gave above was to donate 100% of your profits, but not every company can do that, so you can do 20% or 25% to start off and see where that gets you.  The more you donate, the more sales you'll likely get, and that means more profit in your bank account while sending more money to people in need.

You'll need to show proof of the donations in order to boost trust within your community, so be sure to take pictures of your receipts or anything you can to prove you actually gave away money.  If you can do this, people will gravitate towards you more and share your actions with the masses on social media or on their own websites Align your website with a worthy cause and people will buy from you

Your following will grow gradually and be full of loyal customers
The more you give back, the more you will receive in the future, and this means you will give away money and gain more loyalty from your customer base.  Think about it, if someone was able to spend $100 on a competitor website or spend $100 on your website where you're giving 25% of your profits to children, do you think the customer is going with you or your competitor?  They will always choose you because they will be helping someone out without spending more than they intended.

You may get featured for your generosity
A few times in the past I've told friends with startups to give back as much as they can and it will benefit them later on.  One of those friends actually got featured on the news, which was free publicity, and what they were doing was making purses for women.  They would make a purse for anyone that purchased, then they would also make a purse for any woman who was in need of one, and that brought in a lot of attention.  Enough attention to double her sales locally after getting on the news lol Align your website with a worthy cause and people will buy from you

One of the biggest things that helped her out was my little tip of giving away more purses for the more expensive purchases on her website.  One of her purses sold for $20 and another sold for $250, and I told her to give away 1 purse for the $20 orders and give away 5 to 10 for the more expensive purses that are purchased.  People started to purchase her more expensive purses, she then increased her staff to work on the orders as well as make the free purses, and now she makes over $700,000 profit because she gives away something to people in need Align your website with a worthy cause and people will buy from you

Word of mouth marketing is big when you give back to a cause
When you're giving back to a community, a cause, or trying to fix a problem then you'll likely be getting a decent amount of people spreading your business name because you're trying to help.  We all know that word of mouth marketing is huge, because it converts people into customers much easier than any other form of marketing, so if you're giving something back you will notice your conversion rates increase Align your website with a worthy cause and people will buy from you

In conclusion
Give something back because you want to help out, not because you want to make more money because people will be able to see if you're genuine.  I have plans to set up a marketplace in a niche that hasn't really been tapped in to, and I've already aligned myself with a charity that works with kids, and I'll be giving away 50% of my profits to that charity so they can use it to help out others.  I already know by donating money to children I will get shared more, and my sales will increase, but I don't really need the money so I don't mind giving it away Align your website with a worthy cause and people will buy from you

I totally agree with you, especially with

But I think that the main intentions a person should have are to actually support that cause, and not just intend to make more money from connecting yourself to a charity or such.

This was a very great read, and I'll be following you to see what more you have to offer Align your website with a worthy cause and people will buy from you
