Content marketing can save you money and bring in more customers

When it comes to marketing, getting people to come into your website solely from reading an article isn't the easiest thing to do in the world.  You need to understand what to write, when to write it, how to write it, and how to optimize it in order for everyone to love it.

Now, know all of that isn't all of what you need to understand when it comes to content marketing.  What you really need to understand, and what will convince you to start your content marketing right now, is that you tend to make more money with it than other methods and it tends to be cheaper to perform as well.  If you haven't guessed it, I'll be covering a few reasons you should focus on content marketing in order to save money and profit more along the way Content marketing can save you money and bring in more customers

You can write your own content, saving you money
Anyone with 2 hands and 10 fingers, sometimes less, can write their own content easily.  You're the best person to understand your niche and website, so why should you outsource your work right now when you could do it yourself?  I write content for a living and I'm telling you that it's easy to do if you understand your niche, so the only reason to outsource the work is if you really don't know what you're doing or if you're targeting a different language.

Saving money, in the beginning, is crucial, so you should always fill your website with your own content, and if you really want to you can outsource the work later on down the road.

Costs less than outbound marketing yet generates 3 times the leads
When you're doing content marketing you will quickly realize that it's not nearly as expensive as outbound marketing to generate leads.  This is because you're just writing your own content and publishing it on major platforms that will bring in traffic.  The majority of content marketing can be done by you, which means you'll save money, and you'll generate 3x the leads which profit you even more than outbound marketing Content marketing can save you money and bring in more customers

Blogging helps bring in traffic from the search engines
Everyone is talking about blogging for profits, but not everyone is doing it, which means you likely have an easier journey ahead of you since the majority of your competition isn't doing what you're about to Content marketing can save you money and bring in more customers

The more content you publish on your blogs, the better your chances are of getting exposure, and eventually ranking on top of the search engines for various keywords.  Once you're ranked for enough keywords you'll start noticing plenty of free traffic coming into your posts and that means more money in your pocket since you'll now be making more sales.

Content marketing converts 6 times better than traditional marketing
Traditional marketing converts well, but content marketing is even better, 6 times better to be exact.  With the exception of email marketing being the best way to convert clients, content marketing is the best way, and you don't need to take months to build your lists Content marketing can save you money and bring in more customers

You can write your content in a way to show people why you're the best and they will be convinced right then and there to make a purchase.  Other people will likely go to your blog, where you posted great content, and see you as an authority which will make them decide to purchase.

Content marketing can help brand your business and build trust
Branding and trust go hand in hand, and if you aren't trying to do either of these, you'll likely be falling behind your competitors.  People want to trust you and that's why you need to do the right content marketing!  Give them a reason to trust you, through content marketing, and they will always come back to you for anything they need related to your industry.

In conclusion
Content marketing costs less than all the other methods out there, which makes it enticing to everyone wanting to make money online, but it does take time to write up all the content.  You can't use spun content if you want to be seen as an authority, so just write it yourself or outsource it to a credible writer if you have the funds, you'll be happier in the end if you do Content marketing can save you money and bring in more customers

Thanks for the great article. Content marketing is one of the great way must. Content should need to be 100% unique must, SEO keyword based and copyscape pass based. The content should be must with keyword density and keyword ratio based. Important keyword or high volume keyword with high page rank based website hyperlink will increase your website position on search engine result page and also will increase the position on search engines.

Thanks

A lot of people worry too much about Copyscape, and that's why they tend to take much longer to write up an article for their website than it should actually take. I write up unique content every single day, rarely run it through Copyscape, but it always passes because I write each piece of content in my own words.

A lot of people also have problems optimizing the content, but that just happens when they lose focus and stop thinking of their keyword. I like to drop my keyword at least once in a paragraph, which is usually in line with the 2% to 5% keyword density rule in order to please the big search engines like Google, Yahoo!, and Bing Content marketing can save you money and bring in more customers

If you do everything right, you will have the best content possible for your website or press release and you will be gaining backlinks from 3rd party platforms wanting to share your content, which is awesome Content marketing can save you money and bring in more customers

Some people are actually bad when it comes to copying other people's work knowingly or unknowingly, but simply because they fail to have the ability to use their own words in putting down their own content. This is why such people keep running their new content through Copyscape before having it published in order not to fall into any problems.

Is content marketing related to blogging? I have read some articles that an e-commerce site is best when it has an accompanying blog because it can promote the business to the readers of the blog. Content marketing is not really clear to me but I am assuming that it is marketing with the use of the content of the web page. That is the reason why I am asking about blogging because a blog is clearly a content.

As long as being a webmaster is involved, content is golden as long as you are good in writing a high quality content with great keywords that would make your content rank well and higher in Google, which will in turn generate good organic traffic to your site. Sometimes, if it's difficult to write your own content, it's good to outsource them and get the best for your website.

I understand why Copyscape was invented. To avoid plagiarism or rather to catch plagiarizers. But one time I put a phrase in content I was writing and that blasted Copyscape said I was plagiarizing. Uuhh hello! “Martin Luther King, noted civil rights activist”. I'm like yeah, I know a lot of people use that phrase. He's a historical figure and that's what he did! I thought to myself: “Artificial intelligence may be here to stay but human intelligence ain't going away.” LOL.

Would you consider the free articles a form of content marketing? When I first started I found some nice articles at sites where they offer free content for your websites. You could use the articles as written and you had to be sure you left the author's bio/profile untouched. The author's bio or profile always had a link or links back to the author's site. Did you ever write content and put it in a free article database?

Would you consider the free articles a form of content marketing?

That is content marketing. Anybody who gets the article from sites which offer free articles to lazy bloggers will be promoting someone else's site directly. Some writers even have (in their articles) ads and affiliate links that you can't delete. Regardless of where their article is published they stand to make some money from it each time someone reads it.
Did you ever write content and put it in a free article database?

I haven't and won't. When you place your article in a free article database you'll do so hoping that someone looking for exactly what you've written will find it. Odds of that happening are quite low. Why not do guest blogging instead?

RE: Your response to my 1st question.
I have no problem with the writer putting links in their author's bio. They wrote the article, so it is their work. They don't ask for money. They simply want to be able to include their links in the content. I think it's a fair exchange. Of course, they stand to make some money. But so do I as their content appears on my monetized blog. Again. I think that's fair too. Even with that, I don't go looking for free articles. But if I find a good one, I will use it on my blog.

RE: Your response to my 2nd question.
I did write content and put it in a free article database. The owners of the database annoyed me. I removed my content. I was invited to publish a guest blog post, which I did. I agree with you. Guest blogging is better.

Saving money and bringing in new customers? Sounds just like what many of us need for our businesses! I never knew that content marketing was so much more successful than traditional marketing, but I can definitely understand why that would be the case.

Interesting take on content marketing, but I absolutely agree. I also think that is 100% more effective then traditional marketing. With traditional marketing you had to get to the point in about 2 seconds and people felt that you were selling them something. With content marketing you can allow people to become familiar with your brand without hounding them to bu and slowly real them in. A good example email marketing.

Well that is true, writing your own content as well as advertising it in different social media platforms can save you a ton of money but that's if you have a knack for it. If you don't, then you need to avail the services of a copywriter to help you out in writing effectively correct content.

It's important for any business person that is still learning the ropes of that particular business to hire a copywriter to assist with making good contents to promote such business. Right from the beginning, I have always tried to make contents about the business that I am into and it has helped me in great ways.

I agree with you that anyone that has got two hands and understands what the niche that they are into are talking about can be able to write and do it better since they have the experience to do so. It is never easy when one starts spending at the beginning of a website when they are still trying to make ends meet.

I know some website owners who do not know how to write content and that is the reason for hiring content writers. When you can’t do a chore, you just have to admit it and hire a person to do it for you instead of trying to do it yourself. Similar to a plumbing problem, it is easier to call a plumber to fix the job and pay him for his service. That will be cheaper than doing the plumbing yourself since you are not capable of such work.

I agree. You should just write your own content instead of hiring someone for that. Writing a content about your business is also part of your strategies, so, you should know what is your target and the proper way to get them, the owner is the only responsible for this.

Well, content writing can definitely be a very effective and relatively cheaper way of marketing your business online. If you are able to write content that is effective in getting traffic to your website then there is no point in delegating that responsibility to others. Your quality content on various websites and forums online will be helpful in getting free traffic to your website and will increase the profitability of your business
