4 steps to building a great sales funnel
When you're starting up a business, you'll always want to think of your sales funnels, because those will boost your business towards success easier than hitting the pavement and asking people in person to sign up with you. If you don't know what a sales funnel is, well, it's a simple little thing that funnels potential customers to your business in order to make more profit coming through your site.
Sales funnels are essential when it comes to websites because they will work regardless of how much time you invest in them. If you can set up multiple funnels, that's multiple traffic streams, which can turn into hundreds or thousands of dollars in extra income per day if you're lucky.
Below I'll be going over the 4 steps that need to be taken in order to have a successful sales funnel, and they are:
Step 1: Building Awareness
You'll need to start building some awareness on 3rd party platforms in order to get people to know who you are and what you do on your website. After you've done plenty of branding, and building awareness amongst your community, you will have the beginning of a sales funnel.
Think of each website you start to promote yourself on as a single sales funnel that can be built up for extra traffic and profits later on.
Step 2: Gain Interest
If you're just like everyone else, you're not going to gain much interest from strangers, which is what we're not trying to do. Instead, have something of interest that is making waves within your industry or have a unique product that is cutting edge and can gain some interest easily.
If you can do this, you're successfully completing step 2 of your sales funnel.
Step 3: Getting a Decision
When you get people to land on your website, you've successfully done steps 1 and 2, and now you're beginning to master step 3. Getting them to land on your website isn't finishing step 3, but getting them to make a decision as to if they need your product or service is what you're going for.
If you can convince someone that they need your product or service, and they believe it's their own decision, you've successfully completed step 3 and now it's on to the final step!
Step 4: Getting an Action
A sales funnel is nothing without a call to action that is easily accessible. If your website's navigation is all over the place, your sales won't be as high as they could be, so make sure your sales funnels and websites are in working order by having everything flow perfectly and have a clear call to action at the end.
When your visitors make a decision that they want your products or services, you MUST have something on your pages that gives them quick access to a checkout page in order to boost your sales. Sure, they might want to contact you, and they can easily through your specific methods of contact, but you must have a clear call to action to capture the sale easier.
If you're working on your sales funnels in order to boost your profits, you're on the right track towards success. If you're not working on your sales funnels, or you don't have any up and running, you're behind the competition and will likely lose to them sooner rather than later. Get to work and start perfecting your sales funnels in order to scare your competition and start making more money than you were yesterday
