4 ways to boost traffic that aren't SEO related

When you start your website you may not even know about SEO, but you'll quickly realize you need it in order to bring in super targeted traffic, but that's not the only way to make money through targeted traffic.  There are various methods and techniques out there that will bring in traffic but there are few as strong as guest blogging, using social media platforms, email marketing, and using videos to pull in this traffic.  You may not know where to start, but that's not a big problem because each of these methods isn't quick, which means you can take your time to build new traffic streams.

People all over the world are using the methods I'm about to talk about in order to build massive traffic streams that pull in thousands of dollars a day to their websites.  Some of these websites even get acquired by big fortune 500 corporations, which means they are retiring after just a year or two of hard work, and that's something we all want in our future lol.

Below you'll see 4 of the easiest ways to help boost your traffic which aren't related to SEO.

Guest blogging for traffic
A while back there was a sort of nerf on guest blogging because it was simply too powerful when it came to boosting your rankings by strategically planting a backlink in your posts.  If you're doing guest blogging now, you'll see your rankings not getting boosted as much as they would before, but that's not what you're likely targeting.

Guest blogging brings in a decent amount of traffic if you get on the right websites.  The best part about guest blogging is your posts tend to stay live on 3rd party websites forever, which will always send in traffic and boost your sales 4 ways to boost traffic that aren

Using social media
This is a combo method because you can use pages and groups to send traffic as well as setting up a PPC campaign on platforms like Facebook in order to send traffic to your website.  What I like to do is combine these 2 methods and send traffic to my groups in order to build up the members and then get traffic through clicks of pinned posts or my links in the description of the groups 4 ways to boost traffic that aren

Social media has billions of people every day searching around for cat videos, seeing what their friends are doing, and various other things.  Get them to your groups or send them directly to your website with a PPC campaign 4 ways to boost traffic that aren

Using email marketing for more traffic
Email marketing has the absolute best ROI of any marketing method out there but it has a bad reputation due to all of the people spamming whatever they can to publicly viewable emails.  If you're building your lists how you should be, by asking people to sign up instead of scraping emails, you will see that your lists will likely click through and browse your website more often than if you were to scrape emails and blast out to them.

Using video content for traffic boosts
The majority of people out there would rather watch a video to understand what's going on than read an article.  There have been various studies that concluded videos are being watched more than articles are being read.  The time someone spends watching a video vs reading an article is insane, people are watching more video than reading text because they lose interest fairly quickly.

If you make your videos just right, and the timing, as well as clips, are just right, you will keep people on your videos until the very end.  This means you will likely convert someone into a customer by publishing videos more than articles 4 ways to boost traffic that aren

In conclusion
Above are just 4 of the best ways to bring in traffic to your website, but they're not the only ways, so you should always be experimenting with ways to build your traffic streams that will inevitably boost your sales.  If you're not trying to do any of these right now, you should drop what you're doing and focus on just one for now.  After you build one stream, move on to another, and eventually, you'll have all of these methods running smoothly and sending in dozens or hundreds of customers each day 4 ways to boost traffic that aren

Social media really is the way forward with so many things, it seems! I use it in my job right now as a method of marketing, and it's really effective with engagement numbers there - I'll need to try and utilize it more as a way of getting more traffic to our website, too.

With all the targeting options it's only getting better as time goes on. The more data that is collected over time, the better we can target specific people, which means our marketing dollars are better spent since we're going to be increasing our ROI on advertising 4 ways to boost traffic that aren

The idea of using video content is the one that appeals to me the most. I actually plan on integrating video content with the blog I'm starting up. The main idea is to create videos that go along with my blog posts/articles, and therefore there is content for both people who want to read and who just want to watch a video. This way I intend to shoot my traffic back and forth between my website and YouTube, which ultimately (hopefully) would end up generating revenue from two individual sources.

Yeah, people want to watch more videos and read less online, which is why video marketing is only getting better for conversion rates when it comes to marketing and bringing in clients.

You can boost your traffic exponentially if you just put yourself to work and publish plenty of videos on various platforms. Think about it, the more videos you put out, the more views and potential clients you could obtain through video marketing 4 ways to boost traffic that aren

The video is truly getting to be popular in some sites that they go hand-in-hand with the text. As you said, there is convenience for those who want to watch videos instead of reading text. I just cannot say if this is already a paradigm shift that users are veering towards the video but we can see that in a couple of years maybe if blogging will change to vlogging or remain with the text blog.

I tend to agree with using Social Media and Videos, basically posting videos in Facebook and YouTube are proven traffic boosters. I've done in quite a lot in Facebook and it works like a charm.

I think email marketing is getting stronger over the years. Lot of people subscribe to the services. And they seem to be making a lot of people money. But not sure how that would be something that can be easy. Like getting the subscribers. And how to get the marketing for the people that converts. So that being said, you can see that email marketing and the social media is one good option there.

Email marketing is actually getting better but there is one issue with email marketing which affects its effectiveness in helping one with generation of traffic for one's site, and it's the issue of email spamming. This has been a serious problem for all those who are into email marketing, once someone has been a victim of email spamming, they find it hard to believe and accept any marketing information or mails that comes to them.

I have heard a lot about it too. The only issue is that Google has the promoted tab in the gmail. Which makes it a bit harder to make use of the marketing to reach people. Otherwise it can be easier to reach more people through the mails. I think there must be some ways you can reach it as well.

I think the most important aspect of boosting traffic is content, high-quality content! It's one thing we can totally control.
Even if it takes time, high-quality content will always generate traffic. Apart from that, the 4 methods you mentioned are very useful, especially social media. We're living in a time where mostly everyone is on social media platforms, you can reach your audience easily. I tried Facebook groups and I generated great traffic, and more than that, I was able to reach the audience I was aiming for.
Concerning videos, I agree that most people would prefer watching a video over reading an article, but that's not true in all cases.
It's still a great idea though.

Creating quality content is a definite must that needs to happen. Plenty of websites out there aren't creating unique content for their websites, and they are usually owned by the webmasters that complain about not having a ton of traffic to their websites lol.

The saying "If you build it, they will come" doesn't apply to websites and sales, so by adding quality content you will get them into your field of dreams and hopefully make some sales 4 ways to boost traffic that aren

I definitely agree with you. There are a lot of bloggers out there that don't even make the effort needed to succeed, but they complain all the time and keep asking why? Why isn't anyone interacting with me? 4 ways to boost traffic that aren
I've had a friend who could barely speak English, that made a hideous blog in English, and started copy-pasting other people's work with no original content of his own, to this day, he doesn't understand why he hasn't become a millionaire 4 ways to boost traffic that aren

I have experience with the first two traffic generation methods you have mentioned. I have tried email marketing, however, stopped doing it because I was not receiving conversions (perhaps my list was very small to convert). I do not have any experience with video marketing. However, I understand the importance of using video for traffic generation.
These days what you are delivering is more important than how you are delivering. You have a great website, however, if you are not delivering your website to your audience properly, you are not making profits. Therefore, you need to choose right methods to bring traffic.

I can't do eMail right now because according to Google my account is not for business.

To make up for not using eMail though, I use my social media like it's my right hand.

As for guest posting, I was invited once by a fellow blogger. Now that I have met more like-minded bloggers in Facebook groups and forums, I may approach them with an offer and see what happens.

Social media is a free tool for anyone who is just starting any business online. Thank you so much for posting this one.
I literally thought that starting your own website can be so expensive. Specially that you need to know more about SEO and how you will increase your traffic using only SEO. I never thought about using social media to start boosting traffic.

Using social media is my take on the issue of getting traffic. I have friends who are capitalizing on their social media connections to get traffic to their website or viewers to their videos. And although it is not that potent since the social media network is composed of varied kinds of people, at least there will surely be positive reactions when you post about your business or interest.

The whole guest blogging things confuses me. I mean, is it paid links? Google hates those. Nonetheless, the buying and selling of guest post articles is big business I think.
