Maximum number of pages in a book for children

The number of pages in abook for children should be different than the adult one. It also depends that
how much is your book interesting for children. Usually children get bore soon
and they want to read new things. So it is really a good idea to keep the page
numbers into the range of 34 but if you exceed it to 50 then it is still fine.
Be careful with your content. Increase the quality of content so it will allow
you to increase the number of pages.

Depends on the reading literacy of the country whereas some kids have the capacity to read more pages than the latter.

Hello
Have a wonderful day.

Below 5 years of age of childrens- the book page should be 10. Below 10 years of age the page numbers should be 20 to 50. 50 plus pages will be bother for children.

Thanks

I have written and published a children book. There are 32 pages in my book. The ideal number of pages in a children book depends on the content of the book and the target audience. My book is a picture story book for kids aged 3-8 years. Had I written a book for 12 years old kid, the book would have at least 40 pages.

I have no experience in making childrens books, but from my knowledge of seeing how quickly kids can lose there attention and focus on something different. I would have to say 25 pages would be a good mark because it seems to be enough to still keep the kids interested without them wanting something else to do right away.

You should be careful with the content rather than being worry about the number of pages. Do a research work before writing. Ask a few reader about the content and the quantity. You must know about the interest of the readers. If you writing for the children then ask a few children around your area that what kind of stories they like to read and how many pages should be in a book. Making a series of the storybook is a better idea. You can earn a lot of profit by selling the different parts.

I don't think that the number of pages really matter in a book for kids (of course it should not be very long), I think that the story itself should matter, it should have the subject that would take the kid imagination away. When a kid read a book he should enjoy, laugh and feels happy! A child may find happiness in 20 pages as in 60 pages as well, the content matters!

We have a family writer who writes children’s books that he sells to the bookstores. He is a professional book writer. The usual number of pages of his children’s books is 30 and that comes with big fonts, of course, and illustrations plus photos sometimes. Children have a short attention span so the stories are short as well that sometimes can be in half a page although his standard is 1 story per page.

I've never thought of doing a children's book. However now it sounds like a great idea. I think a children's book needs to have more pictures than text. Which I would do is divide the book in segments , which have different stories. I would then put lots of pictures. What is not a good idea is for the story to go on and on. Keep the story short no matter how long the book is. Children can always read a different story every day.
