How many Black Friday emails did you get today?

Today I got about 50 emails today with Black Friday offers.

Is that a lot? It was quite a lot for me.

If I search my Inbox for Black Friday it takes up my whole screen!

It's crazy. Some of them were pretty good though with up to 50% off.

Still though, I really need to start unsubscribing from some of these emails!

I might set up a filter to block anything with the string "Black Friday" in it! How many Black Friday emails did you get today?

I'm just wondering, did anyone else receive any more than me?

Did you manage to bag a bargain deal today anywhere?

Oh. My. Gosh. I do not even want to think about it..

Let's see, on my personal email, that I don't use to sign up to newsletters, but somehow I still get some spam, I think I have gotten about 7 emails. On my other email that I use for signups, and do not really care if it is spammed with junk about 800.. This time is very annoying, because these companies want people to buy their products, and it's a great day for spending so why not?

I think if I was a corporate business person I would probably send out all those emails too.

Nope! I am more of a cyber monday kind of guy, plus I do not want to go to any shopping malls or anything because I live right near one and let me tell you, it was PACKED!!!

Wow... You guys are nuts! - Totally crazy! How many Black Friday emails did you get today?

I got 5 emails and 3 texts. I answered all the texts with a "stop" so I'll never receive anything similar again. Ever! (And if I do. I'll probably throw my entire computer out of the window. I'm so tired of these things so I can't even explain how I feel about it...)

The emails however, was mostly pure garbage. And even though I could find a good deal or two on their websites, I wasn't interested in the emails or the products they tried to push in the emails, and I didn't buy a single thing. Nothing. Zero.

Black Friday seems to be 10 times bigger than Christmas and 11 times bigger than Cyber Monday by now and I.. Nah, I just can't. I can't explain how tired I am.. Come at me with 90% discounts and I might just buy something. Keep pushing those boring 25% discounts and I'll probably go in to a store and pay the whole price for it, just to show that the discounts sucks!

The worst part is, that Black Friday has become a huge thing in Sweden now too!

I got 10 emails, and I was not interested in any of them to be honest as I would not dream of going personally to a store on Black Friday. I cannot stand queues and the time you get to waste. I guess if these people were to add up the time that they spent in queues, trying to grab a bargain, (which in all probability they do not manage to buy everything that they wished for as they run out of stock), the savings that they make will be far less than if they were to spend that time working! I just stick to online shopping.

I tend to get about 50 emails every day with all kind of offers, but yesterday had to be some kind of record, probably got more than 200. Some tools even convinced me into buying monthly or per year subscriptions. Anyway, most had pretty good offers but ThemeForest, for example, rocked with their 19 bucks per theme or plugin.

I only hope I spend everything on good stuff, only time will tell since I only bought tools that I didn't tried much before purchasing.

Oh my gosh Mike, it was insane! I haven't checked my spam folder so I sure there must have been loads there too, but the ones that came through must have been about 35 -40.

I get that there are great discounts on Black Friday but I am not a sale shopper in general. I buy what I need when I need it and not when there are sales. If I know a sale is coming up for something I need to buy I might wait and buy it, but I won't go and buy things purely because they are on sale.

I find the Black Friday hype is getting just as much downplay as the Black Friday deals online. Gone are the days when one could look forward on a deal on a really good gadget unless you manage to find yourself in a human stampede waiting for the stores to, well just waiting for the day to be over because there are no breaktimes for you once you are caught up in a Black Friday Jam pack store. You'll just have to ride out the storm and hope that you came away with a good deal. Online however the Black Friday deals are a bit of a drag these days with other contenders such as Cyber Monday slowly gaining momentum over Black Friday.
