Unique SEO optimized titles for each page?

Do you think is obligatory to have different titles for each page of a website?
I think it's super important, especially for blog and content builders. Having SEO optimized titles containing the main keyword is essential.

But what about online store and other types of e-commerce?
Some online stores have hundredths of different pages and categories, should we have different titles for each listing page?

I tend to answer yes, it will surely help rather than have a negative aspect. But It will be a titanic work to implement for very big? e-commerce stores. Question is, is with worth it in the end?

To answer your question: YES!

Here is a test I did, just playing around. I created dynamic webpages using the formula N1 * N2 * N3 for the limo industry. (Craigslist does it but they need work) Unique SEO optimized titles for each page?

Here is the results:

45 vehicle types
X's
45 Service Types
X's
97,528 Zip Codes

My website dynamically produced 197,494,200 million unique geo-targeted pages that showed up everywhere!
(You'll have to create a site map so the search engines can find the links and also create a library that spins text at a 80%+ rate, you don't want dupe content). Don't forget to create dynamic meta data, alt text, picture naming convention and more etc, wink, wink! ;)

To make a long story short I took entire pages on the search engines from page 1 through at least 8+, I got tired of looking for my ranking and also it was not possible to track every geo-location. It was Totally fun stuff! I still laugh to this day! Yes I made a ton of money but I took it down because I wanted to move on to other ideas I had. I now have much better formulas!

THINK DIRECTORIES AND THE HUGE DB's YOU CAN BUY CHEAP.

I wonder if you had earned a ton of money then why do some other things? All right, let me answer that for you. The work you did for the optimization of titles is a tedious activity that you get bored and probably you lost your patience. Doing things that you don’t like may not be worth the money you earn. Am I right on my answer to my own question? That means for me to just go to other SEO methods which is easier to do.

Oh big time yes on this question.

I had a small online store and I had unique SEO titles for each page... and it was a pain in the ass. It did help with my rankings very much.

I now optimize each page and post's meta titles with my keyword.

What about websites that have 1k+ pages? Should all titles be optimized manually? Should I think about the main keyword I give each title?
It will take a LOT of time to implement this all manually. And if I'm doing the titles it's only normal to do the meta descriptions also.

Yes it would take time, but won't it be worth it in the end? I use the main keyword in my meta title and meta descrition yes.

I guess your right, but try telling a client you need an additional 50 hours on implementing stuff like this. Viewable only in search engines and not having any immediate effect or guaranteed effect for that matter.

Had a lot of clients refusing custom meta descriptions and titles, because they didn't want to pay extra and thought I was crazy since their competitors had duplicate meta descriptions and titles and everything was "fine".

Although it could be very time consuming I think it is worth it. However in case of ecommerce stores where there are thousands of pages it might not be feasible to do it manually. There could be a way to do it though, maybe someone who is conversant with this could give you a tip.

Yes, you can turn to a programmer to develop some kind of code that will do it automatically. But I don't think you would gain much SEO value. A script can't think as a good SEO does, I personally follow my gut as well as checking a lot of tools before I make the final decision on choosing a certain keyword, bottom line is: I take into account a lot of factors and you can automate that.
