    Can you forward a TLD to a subdomain?

    Most times, you think of TLD as being forwarded to another TLD site. But what if you have taken the time to develop a very content rich, high quality subdomain on your main site, such as a forum or blog (such as myblog.mysite.com). Would you then redirect a TLD to that subdomain or simply leave it with the subdomain address?

    It would be useful to forward a domain to a subdomain if your main site was hacked and infected and you needed to redirect to a different version of your site. Then your site visitors would automatically go to the subdomain. That would give you time to clean up the spam mess on your main site.
