    On-Page: Whatever action you do in the website to increase the website rankings/traffic.
    Off-Site: Whatever action you do in the outbound of the website to increase the business/search rankings/hits.

    Yes, i agree with kevinmax.
    On-page means which work we do in our website in HTML tags to promote website thats called On-Page SEO.
    Off-page means which work we do on other websites for submissions like social bookmarking, forum posting, blog commenting, article submissions, etc. to create the backlinks for website promotion thats called Off-Page SEO.
