    Best thing that I can do using SEO is to sell my site for more than 200% profit ! Worst thing would be to neglect it after doing excessive SEO :|

    I would never use duplicate content and automated link building, these are very bad thing in SEO and you won't get any benefit as well.

    Some black hat backlink building techniques (such as using automated software to blast out thousands of backlinks instantly) work temporarily to boost the site in Google. These sites rarely hang onto the top spot for long. Google will get the idea of what is going on and demote it in seach. Simply focusing on the highest quality on page content as well as best backlinks from reputable sites is a good SEO strategy for long term search engine success.

    Best thing you can do is add good content to your site. Make sure it's regularly updated. That's most important. Link building is secondary.

    The worst thing you can do is get frustrated with your slow, methodical backlinking campaign and attempt a blackhat SEO campaign where you send out thousands of links at a time. This can be very devastating to your site's search engine ranking, especially if Google finds out.

    Best thing you can do is add good content to your site. Make sure it's regularly updated. That's most important. Link building is secondary.


    I found very good success when working on a static HTML site by updating all pages with new content at least once every few weeks, including the home page. The home page content can be updated even weekly. You don't have to take down existing content, just add to it, to give Google something new to index.

    Relying on someone else for 100% of your SEO work is another huge mistake because if you don't know SEO then how do you know if they are doing it right or wrong?. As webmaster/blogger, it's your job to over see what others do for SEO on your behalf. That means you need to be as well read and knowledgeable on SEO as the experts even if you get someone else to do the job for you. That way you will know what is right and wrong for SEO and what needs to be done.

    I think the worst thing that you can do against the SEO of your website is uploading copied contents from another website particularly from popular and established websites. I have read in some discussions that the search engine may suspend your website from the inclusion in the searches. That means you will lose the chance to get extra traffic from the search engine. And if that happens, it will be a sorry situation if your website was in a good position regarding the search list.
