Bad Back links.

Two months ago I went through and SEO company and bought what was supposed to be "White Hat", Panda and Penguin safe back links. My site was slowly climbing. (It's only about 5 months old.) Within the last 3 weeks my site took a huge nose dive in the rankings as the back links started appearing. I do not know how to get rid of these links. I am not in trouble with Google as of yet. The SEO company I went through has closed and is now operating under a different name and I cannot get a hold of them. Would putting quality back links to my site reverse the effect? Or am I about to go out of business?

Go to Google Webmaster Tools and start disavowing links. Find every bad link that was placed to your site and send an email to the site owner asking that the link be removed.

Thank you. I will try this, but I hate to admit to Google what happened. I guess there is no other way. Thanks again.

If your website rankings climbed within 3 weeks by only backlinks? Sure you will get some problem & Google may push you back in the rankings. Use Backlinkswatch, Google webmaster tools, Ahrefs...scrape all the passed back-links and take a look of those (Find the inorganic links/irrelevant link/low quality websites) remove those with the help of disavow/If you got the account details they used - Just login and delete the account.

Low quality back-links are the main reason of website drawback. If our website have more of low quality and broken links then getting of SERP is much difficult. SO we always need to check our website link and other links pointing to our website.

In my opinion, all links that are not related to your own site/blog, are bad links. It doesn't matter where they come from, as long as they are related. Site wide links...same story Bad Back links.

first remove all bad & low quality baclinks from your website & then build only quality backlinks from high PR domain.

Worried about bad back links? Received an unnatural links warning in your Google Webmaster Tools account? Trying to lift a manual penalty?

If low quality, unnatural or "spammy" links in your website's back link profile have become a preoccupation, you're in danger of spending way too much time worrying about your problems and not enough working on solutions!

It looks like backlink building is tricky because it can backfire if you are doing it the wrong way. I still have to know what makes a bad backlink but I have read that quality backlinks are the links of your site that you posted in sites with authority like EDU and GOV and also Yahoo Answers. Likewise it is also good to post on popular blogs and big forums particularly the dynamic forums.
