    Facebook optimized CPM vs. CPM?

    Can someone explain to me why I would choose optimized CPM on Facebook ads vs. CPM? Optimized CPM just seems a lot more expensive when you don't control it and I get good results from CPM.

    You posted CPM twice... CTR seems more realistic and you know exactly what you get, but with optimized ad for certain niches, you can get better results - more clicks with CPM.

    Facebook has Optimized CPM and then CPM.

    They both charge per 1,000 views but they do something with the Optimized CPM that makes CPM better.

    Oh lol sorry, didn't know that. I thought it's just CPM and CTR like elsewhere.

    No worries Facebook optimized CPM vs. CPM?. I read about optimized CPM and apparently they determine the price per bid for you which result in the highest conversion (conversion being defined by you). Still, I'm skeptical about using it and allowing them to bid for me (of course they want the highest bid).

    My question at this point is, does it work better?
