WTF is up with Facebook? Anyone know?

Now I've been trying to figure out a way to run a campaign on FB to gain affiliates, but it seems FB has something against the aff code. I see that SEOclerks advertises on FB with sclrk.com and I can pst that fine, but as soon as I add the /linkin/?????? it denys it. ????????? Is there a way around this?

Create an affiliate store on your own domain and drop that link anywhere you like, including on FB and Twitter, which also doesn't allow direct SC aff links.

Exactly! We haven't had any issues doing this at all, and between the two of us we have four stores, with our own domains WTF is up with Facebook? Anyone know?

I have links to my affiliate stores on YT. It's not as effective as it used to be, but still important.

I've created Facebook pages for my stores as well. Good social linkage WTF is up with Facebook? Anyone know?

Are you still seeing conversions with FB? I have FB Lead Chef and target specific groups in FB campaigns. When I don't use FB Lead Chef I've noticed a ton of fake clicks and likes and there is actually quite a bit of info on FB scamming people lately. I did a like campaign and more then half of the likes were from new accounts that had likd 1000's of other pages across FB and all likes were different niches or different companies within a niche. I mean who likes, toyota, Chevy, Hyundai, Honda, Ford, BMW, and other car companies from one profile, has minimal friends, and barely any posts. Looks fake if you ask me.

I only use FB for the social buzz these days, as I don't find the campaigns as effective as they were, say, 2-3 years ago. I do agree with your speculation on the fake accounts though. Do you even get a decent ROI with it anymore, or has that train left the station long ago??

I am testing the waters now. I ran a campaign for about a week last month and during that week I didn't see any ROI. So I paused the campaign and quit running it. I ran a campaign for a FB fan page for my site, which is an Amazon affiliate site. Well i quit focusing on the site and decided to work on something else with lesser competition. A month went by and I checked my Amazon affiliate earnings and had made $800 sales and $44.00 commissions. I only spent $7.00 in advertising on FB. I tracked the conversions to yahoo organic search. I know that FB is teamed up with Bing so I am running another campaign to see if it works again. I will definitely let you know how it goes.

Sounds like there is potential with the Amazon campaign. I just wish the percentages were higher there. Thanks for keeping me posted! WTF is up with Facebook? Anyone know?
