Suggestion for WTB

Dont allow sellers to offer services through it.

For example I just got an email for this:
Title: I will Post unlimited Free Ads as im Electronics Telecom Engineer
Skills Required: HTML,Designing, blog, in, CMS,SEO,PHP,Javascripts,making, , , website, blog,wordpress,Marketing
Short Description: I will Post unlimited Free Ads as im Electronics Telecom Engineer...

Am I missing something or is that WTS and not WTB?

And add a report button so wtb's can be reported when they are just soliciting for purchases.

wow,

the thought of someone actually opening and reading a seo sales email and posting questions about here is about a sad as me thinking there was something to read here and posting this reply.

Seoclerks sell space in emails. If those emails are spam then more people will opt out of them meaning Seoclerks are going to lose money.

Also feel free to not post, if this doesn't float your boat ;)

Hi Jeff, I'm James. Sorry if I come across as an ass, but the emails are from Seoclerks WTB service, which of course, I dont mind. Its when I check the email and its not a WTB, but a WTS. Just turns me off (and I'm sure others feel the same) + I'm sure Seoclerks dont wanna lose money (who does right?)

We don't allow users to do this. This particular user is nothing more than a spammer. Sorry for the inconvenience it caused - will add the report button as well.

ahhh... allllrighty James, I think Im starting to get the picture here; now this thread makes sense to me

so just to catch up (been gone a while) seo-c is selling ad space in shotgun emails that are supposed to be directed at sellers here - the adspace is supposed to be reserved for "want to buy" ads - so the sellers can respond in a timely fashion etc etc.

but - the problem is, these emails which are directed at the sellers are actually containing "want to sell" ads from other sellers... right on right on, gotcha!

lemme take a sec to digest this here...

ok, I need a little more clarification without having to try and find this system on the site so help out if u dont mind..

who exactly is spending money on this ad system? the people getting the mail or the people who's ads are in the mail? or both?

sup J, thanks for dropping in on this -

you replied as I was fishing around looking for this ad system for email ads--- couldnt find it.

im guessing by Jordans' reply that the problem here is someone who has circumvented the rules of the system and slipped through the cracks.

ok James, looks like Jman is on the case so I will bow out - but thanks for bringing the issue up all the same.

The user in this case created a bunch of WTBs as a service. When he entered a set of skills, it emailed everyone that claims they obtain these skills (in order to find likely candidates). Whether this was intentional or not, I couldn't tell as it wasn't spam for another website (they appeared to be valid services which were meant for the marketplace area).
