Pick a service that not many others offer here but that is in high demand. There are many offering backlinking and SEO related services, so that is high competition.

You should experiment with a variety of services until you find one or two types that work very well for you.

For instance, my specialty is article writing and I've had great success with that on eHow and Hubpages. However, here I had better success with forum posting. So that's my specialty now rather than article writing, though I write an occasional article or Hubpage upon request.

As for making sales, once you have your service up, you will want to actively promote via your signature line here on SEOClerks and other forums.

And, be sure to bump your various services as often as is allowed.

Once you start getting a few sales and good reviews, you'll earn more sales from others.

Be sure to include screenshots of client recommendations and even work samples on all your service pages to show the client what you have done for others.

Best of luck.

The key to success is to offer something UNIQUE (if possible). Of course SEOClerks is about SEO (mostly), but you can vary this with different offers about backlinks, forums, article writing, etc. Write the service to be LIKED by people. Think about WHY they should buy from YOU (and not from anybody else offering the same (or related) service! ;)

I would say that you could offer extras with your services. This might get you some more sales.

From my opinion if you have more positive review minimum 300+ review and your service price is not so high keep in between $2 to $5 than definitely you will get high sales for sure.

In my opinion, what i did is started off with a couple services cause i was a level 1.
It took a little time to increase levels too.
I mainly had to share ALOT of twitter to get people to start coming to this site.
When i hit level 3, that's when all of the business comes in!
I keep getting orders daily and at some points i get a little backed up on my orders.

Thanks!

I think that unique content and more things in one thing is better like:

Something someone never sells + 25 Things! for $...

If you get what I meant.

What are you best at? Create a service that you think is your unique selling proposition. If you are good at writing, create a writing service. If you are good with SEO, create an SEO service,
Pricing of your service is also important to become a better seller. You should do a check on your competitors and price your service accordingly. Having a price lower than other sellers will help you drive sales.

Being a great seller is not easy anywhere but it doable, you just have to experiment with different approaches until you know the one that works better for you,you can start with offering unique services, make sure it what you have a good knowledge about, either you featured it or bump it up regularly here, promote it everywhere online. When you get your jobs try to give your very best to either retain the customers or get referrals from them and it will become a lot easier to have a good flow of jobs every day.
