    Are there any secrets to get traffic to a blog?

    Whenever I blog, I link back from Google+ and Facebook and tweet about my new posts. Also, I have several regular forums that allow me to post a link to new blog posts. These sites help me generate decent traffic for each new post. How do you get traffic to your blog to see posts? Do you have any secrets?

    Be an innovator and never copy or duplicate another blogger's content. If you want to write about the same thing, then find a unique angle and give your own experiences and opinions with the subject rather than writing a generic over view. Express your opinions and be controversial when needed. These ideas will result in increased traffic as people return to your blog again and again to see what you have to say.

    Linking from my Facebook groups is a very useful way to get blog traffic. But, some people might not find the same success especially if the Facebook group they are using is not related to their blog niche.

    I assume the best bet will be to share it on your social media account so that one's friends and family could help in checking out each blogpost and that way you would be getting constant traffic.

    Another thing is blogging on valuable tips and on very interesting topics.

    First and foremost thing for getting traffic is the quality of your blog post. It should now only be well written but also interesting, informative, and very original. If you publish contents on the topic that has been already covered extensively, this is not going to help. Why should people read your content when the subject is already available online.
    Second important thing is search engine optimization. You have written a good post, but how will people find it out. Here lies the importance of SEO. Unless your content is not optimized, your blog will never generate good traffic.

    I always try as much as I can to add the link to some of the posts that I made on blogs as a guest blogger on my posts on social media networks. I mean it has been the best way that I pushed the blog to be known and the good thing about it is that it is cost effective as well.

    Well, there are no secrets. Everyone knows you need SEO to get a better rank on search engines. You will get a lot of organic traffic if you have a good position on SERP. You need to market your works on social media in order to generate social signals and traffic. You also need to do email marketing.

    If your content is of high quality and interesting then readers will keep on visiting your blog. You can also create a Facebook page for your blog. You must make the most of the different social media platforms available. Try to advertise your blogs on those different social networks.

    I've been tapping Facebook and it's been working great. Just do your research and find all the relevant pages and groups and try to help them to build authority in said sites. You can also talk to the page or group admin for some corroboration.
