Product Launch! - What Should I Do? And How To Do It?

As some of you might know I'm a product creator and I've launched several products during the past 3-4 years, alongside my main business. However, as you and I are most likely different, I would appreciate any input you can give me and others. I'm obviously not here in a "fishy" attempt to steal your fabulous ideas.

I hope this thread will bring many different tips, tricks and advice from many different experts. (Just note that you don't have to be a "real" expert to contribute. Anything is appreciated!)

So for starters. Here are the "rules" you'll need to follow.

  • We'll use Ebooks as the main product that we'll help each other to launch.
  • The niche would be: How To Make Money Online.
  • We have NOTHING at this moment and we're looking in every directions for the things we need to do so we can launch this product as soon as possible.

A few words will make wonders so others can benefit from this too!
What would you do? How would you do it? Why would you do it?

That being said, I'm not looking for any 5000 word replies that covers everything from scratch. I want multiple people to contribute in this topic with their own ideas.

As the creator of this topic, I'll go first. I would suggest:
  • Find one specific thing you're interested in and start writing your content. Keep on writing as much as you possible can. Just write everything that comes into mind so you have all the necessary content you need. Grammar and some duplicate content here and there doesn't matter for now. You'll just have to brainstorm and write as much as you can. Spell check and all that comes later on.

This is an awesome thread, may it live for many time.I am freelance journalist and photo enthusiast by profession. I attend many places ,where many meetings and events that are going on. I will take photos and videos of these events and post them to my Facebook page or offer them as stock footage for resale.

If somebody is in the same profession, i am in . Take note of these...
  • To Whom are you going to sell the pictures or the stock footages to?
  • How are you going to make your web site reach its potential buyers?
  • How do you have a legal right to be there taking pictures or shooting videos?

Just a few cents to think about before you jump into the rush!.

Hello ibuyer,
Even though this topic was intended to be about "Ebooks", how to create them and also how to launch them, I do appreciate your inputs & suggestions as these things you've suggested also fits perfectly in this specific niche too. When you offer your clients to purchase your photos, how do you do it?

Are you using your own website/webshop or blog, or do you offer them these photos or packages straight on your facebook page?

Also, how did you build enough reputation to pull this off and how do you attract your clients? How you your promote your products?

Best Regards,
hitmeasap

Hi HitmeASAP
Now about my profession!.

"When you offer your clients to purchase your photos, how do you do it?"

Most of the time i do it direct. But when i need to do it online (stock photos for that matter) , I always send them a low resolution , watermarked photo. If they like it, they pay me and get the original image.

"Are you using your own website/webshop or blog, or do you offer them these photos or packages straight on your facebook page??"

Yes, I am using my website and fb page both. But i have had more success from forums and other popular sites in the same niche!.

"how did you build enough reputation to pull this off and how do you attract your clients? ?"

Its been said that " You have to shoot a lot of frames to get a few good ones?". Practise is my key.You can't be an expert in some days or weeks. It takes years of practice and experiences. The best way to get started, is get professional training.I am always keen to learn. You need to get adapted and be updated. That's the only way to survive.

"How do you promote your products??"

I always made sure to keep a portfolio of about Ten of my best images and videos. And i made sure to add a diversity by adding portraits, sports, features, news, all mixed in.To make yourself know to public, first talk to other established fellow freelancers in your place and start marketing yourself.Take your camera with you everywhere.

Thanks

How to many money online is over saturated topic, however, people continue to search "how to make money online" that's why writers/bloggers are continuously writing on how to make money online. These days I don't write on how to make money online and I don't type how to make money onlieon the search engine search bar, however, there was a time when I was constantly search how to make money online. I was also writing about how to make money online. I have written numerous articles on how to make money online, however, never attempted to write an ebook on this topic.

This comment is based on my experience when I launched my boutique. That is an offline business during the time when internet was unheard of. Our preparation was geared on the market study although we already have ready suppliers. To maximize the demographic advantage since my boutique has a good location, we personally invited prospective customers. The launch was a whole day event. With an e-book as the prototype product, I guess you can also focus on the potential market. And to determine the prospects, you can create a Facebook page for that.
