How do you increase conversions on mobile devices through facebook ads?

I've been running an ad on facebook for a couple weeks now and I'd say 99.9% of my traffic is from mobile devices. And when I'm selling a service that is $500 or more, I don't think many people on their phone are going to want to buy. I got my ad down to $0.12 per click in the SEO and Webmaster niche/keywords, but my conversions were horrible. When I say horrible, I mean I didn't get a single sale after 3 weeks of advertising and getting 200+ clicks a day How do you increase conversions on mobile devices through facebook ads?

I decided to remove mobile traffic to see if I can get a conversion, but now my CPC has to be at least $0.75 to be competitive. Spending $300 to capture a client isn't ideal, but I'd be willing to do it if I knew I was going to get someone so sign up. But nothing is guaranteed when it comes to facebook advertising. Well really there's no guarantee in any type of advertising because it's up to the person if they want to purchase or not.

What kind of optimization tricks do you use in order to increase conversions?
I always make sure the person sees how much my service costs before they click so that people who aren't interested in paying that much will not click. That way my conversions should increase. I'll also add an image that helps my click through rate. I'll split test images but it seems nothing is working on facebook ads for me How do you increase conversions on mobile devices through facebook ads?

What would you recommend I do? Should I only target desktop traffic and pay the $0.75 per click? Like I said, I'd gladly pay $300 for a client to sign up, but it's not guaranteed.

I need some help with this since I'm still a novice in the facebook advertising game How do you increase conversions on mobile devices through facebook ads?

Thanks,

$500 is not a small amount so you may expect conversion rates to be a bit low. If someone wants to buy your product, then they will most likely go onto a computer and buy it so I think you should keep mobile traffic coming in. Adblockers are also less popular with mobiles so having mobile ads will increase your reach. I think you should offer a discount code on the facebook ad. This will encourage them to buy as they will think this is a better deal with the discount code. From experience, optimising the ads don’t increase conversion rates assuming you chose the right audience and have good image from the start so I would focus on the product itself.

I only know of personal marketing on Facebook because I haven’t experienced a paid ad yet. If you observe your friends in Facebook, it is apparent that majority of them are using phones. My rough estimate among my friends is that only 30% of them are using a computer when on Facebook. That is reasonable because social media is more of fun than business so accessing it when you are in leisurely mood means you can be anywhere. So I’d say that Facebook ads can get more mobile users provided your promotion is relevant to them and interesting too.
