Many businesses have set up their Facebook page so as to try to increase their exposure and online brand visibility. Yet, not all of them do a good job out of it. It is indeed a great marketing tool as long as you make sure that you make your business look professional.
  • For starters, the choice of the profile picture and the cover photo matter a lot.
  • Regular updates are very important, but do not overdo it.
  • Facebook sends emails and provides metrics which should be put to good use to improve.
  • Messages and posts should be answered promptly not after several days.

Even if the About section is not being read, I know because I am one of those who do not read that, it is still imperative to have it filled with substantial information about you and your business. And the cover photo is also one of the most important because it is the main object that attracts attention. I usually stop and read whenever I would chance upon a page with an interesting photo. And sometimes after reading the page, I would realize that it is not relevant to me. But the point is I already have read the contents of the page because I was attracted by the image.
