    World of Beer, are a Florida based chain of craft beer taverns who are looking for Drink It Interns who will spend the summer months visiting breweries across the country and around the world, tasting all manner of different beers. Attending beer festivals, and then posting about their boozy adventures on the WoB blog and social media. Yes this is an internship and not a full-time job with a salary and benefits, but World of Beer will pay you $12,000 for your work and cover all your travel expenses, including food and lodging.     Sure, putting on your CV that you are an professional beer drinking probably wont help you get the job that requires sobriety. But if you're in the food and drink, restaurant, bar/pub or even the brewery industry. And if knowing about beer goes with your job or interest, passion or life goals. Even if you just like to try out new craft beers from around the world. Then you can get paid to do just that!

    Although being a professional beer drinker is not your average job. It's still a very real and serious job you can do and get paid for doing it if that is what you do!     Ohhhhh Man! World of Beer is pretty amazing. They have a location not too far from my house and you always have to get there early on a Friday or Saturday in order to even get a seat. One thing I like and hate about them, at least at the location near me, is that there is no kitchen and you have to order your own food via delivery service. You can also bring your own food, but who wants to make dinner and go out to drink a beer at the same time? One sweet thing about ordering out is that you can usually get a little discount from the featured food establishments in the area if you let them know you're at World of Beer 10 Weird and Whacky Ways to Make Money in Your Spare Time: Drinking Beer

    I never knew they offered $12,000 and cover expenses if you qualify, or are chosen, to be their beer interns lol. It's a pretty cool idea, but would only fit a few select people who already know a load about beer. If you're a random person then I would assume that it would be next to impossible to even get considered for this position.

    For those of you who don't know, World of Beer is a craft beer place with some pretty awesome selections. The one near me has a literal wall full of taps, each being a different delicious brew. They usually have a beer of the week, or month, on tap that is seasonal. And this isn't just any type of beer, it's usually something no one can get their hands on. Even World of Beer can only get around 1 or 2 kegs and they buy in massive bulk from plenty of breweries.     I remember that i've read an article about really really strange(in my opinion) jobs. I didn't even knew that jobs as Professional Sofa tester, i can give you the link of the article but is written in Romanian so i don't know if you will understand it. However she was getting 1000 Pounds per months which is a nice revenue considering that you are practically doing nothing. Only at the end of the "working day" you have to write your opinion of the sofa on some blog.

    Regarding your news, i knew I should chose a different job. I could've been a Professional Beer Drinker (or should i say Taster) getting ready for OctoberFest now.

    OMG Mike I am glad I only became aware of this now 8 years in recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction! This would have been my dream job and I would have made a major idiot of myself and been paid for it.

    Although I am not sure they would have paid for all the alcohol I was drinking while in active alcoholism... they might have told me bugger off very quickly LOL.

    Beer is my favorite passion when it comes to alcohol. I'm not much of a strong liqueur person and not even wine. But beer, I drink it every weekend and almost daily in those hot summer days!

    I even had a beer at my workplace during lunch break! We occasionally do, everyone sees it perfectly normal here.

    Anyways, I would love to be a Beer Freelancer! The only question would be: How much beer do you actually have to drink per day?
    Because anything beyond 4 beers in a row gives me a headache and a bigger one in the morning.

    This is real wacky because I’m sure there will never be a vacancy for this kind of job. I know of some men in our family who drinks beer even during working hours. They sneak in their car to have a drink and go back to work. However, I don’t think this kind of job is lasting although it is worth the fun even if you have been hired for only a week. But the question is what if the beer you will be drinking is not your brand and is against your taste buds? That would be a hell of a job, I guess.

    Hmm, to be honest, I never thought about it. I can't say that I drink too much, but alcohol is a part of my life. Maybe I should do an experiment and get rid of him, because alcohol affects our health a lot.
